I always love teaching in the Spanish Pyrenees 🤩 We took the 2nd year Geologists from Source to Sink through the Tremp-Graus, Ager and Ainsa basins, showing them sedimentology and structural geology, including the fluvial Montanyana Group, the focus of my PhD 🤓🏔️

How sensitive are landscapes to extreme precipitation events? 🌧️ Not only does the total precipitation matter, also its distribution over time --> some clever quantifications and models here. I love it when Quaternary geomorphology can be used to predict the future. Access⬇️
