🚨 New Research: The Economic Benefits of High-Quality Teacher Preparation in TX. Key finding: Replacing just 10% of unprepared teachers could boost annual earnings by $2,100–$3,200 per student just 8 years after high school. Brief: hdl.handle.net/2346/101225 #txed #txlege

Using Texas statewide longitudinal data, I find that only 23% of students who received special ed in HS accessed accommodations in CC, with positive effects on completion & transfer rates for students with LD & OHI, but mixed results for those with ASD & EBD.
