Serious question: Why aren't white people called European Americans. Everyone else is: African American Native American Hispanic American.

@mitchellvii Futures contracts for June-July do not set the daily price. Those contracts from Mar-Apr do. March was 104, April was 114. Factor in domestic supplies are running low. No gouging is occuring.

Clearly retailers are gouging at this point. Oil at roughly $100 a barrel does NOT justify these prices.

@jacharless @CrewkerneMan James you're confusing yourself; being British doesn't mean you're not allowed to be vegetarian, white, brown, left wing, right wing, tall, short, fat, gorgeous, ugly, catholic, Buddhist, Jewish, Hindu. Is just your nationality James, and it’s never the end of the story.

Standing with British Jews is patriotism. They are our fellow countrymen, and their contribution to Britain has been immense. Jewish history is British history. Failing to teach it properly helps breed the ignorance and antisemitism we see so widely today.

15 years ago today, U.S. Navy SEALs killed Osama bin Laden in Operation Neptune Spear. It was one of the most consequential and daring missions in military history, and it made America and the world safer. God bless the American service members and intelligence operatives behind it.

@otokyo__ That's a complete oxymoron. Genuine atheists do not adhere to the issue of moral obligation because the latter stems directly from theological principles and presets. One does not need morals to be a good human. They need only a functioning conscience and self-acountability.

@sashameetsrus The vast majority of loyalists and patriots had the same spirit. It was only George’s policies that divided British settlers in the new kingdom of America. Both were against French and Spanish influence. Both wanted economic prosperity. Read up on the Olive Branch Petition.

@JamesMelville True, Starmer lacks much of that all to familiar and expected British swag and finesse. But, he has done far better than Johnson, Sunak, May, Cameron, Brown, and even Blair.

I’m no royalist, but King Charles is giving a masterclass on sophisticated diplomacy on his US visit. He’s combining charm while displaying dry humour at Donald Trump’s expense. In effect, he’s displaying the type of characteristics that are completely beyond Keir Starmer.

After listening to King Charles speech, all my fam across the pond kept texting me: Make America British Again! Haha. But seriously, he really sent a unified message across the world. It showcases why Britain became the most successful global empire.

@AmbDennisRoss Clearly none of it has been effective. We crippled their economy, sanctioned them up the ying-yang for 50 years, bombed the ever-loving Pete out of their cities and even blockaded their waterway. Despite it all, Iran remains undefeated.

If President Trump wants to maximize pressure on this Iranian leadership without resuming strikes on Iran’s infrastructure, he needs to maintain the blockade and tell the Iranians that if there is no agreement, we will open the Straits and keep it open for everyone but Iran.
