@kartik118 @IndianGems_ GDP will grow irrespective of leaders?. What a tharkuri statement this is... For GDP growth you need investments and policies along each sector. A leader who frames those can only achieve the economy's growth. TN achieved the double digit growth never in the last ADMK period

The EXIT POLL results for TVK are a stark reality check. Vijay didn’t even campaign in every district, let alone every constituency, yet the potential polling numbers reveal the sheer gravity of discontent on the ground. If TVK even nears or crosses 20%, the blame lies squarely with the two dravidian majors: one for appearing weak, and the other for making avoidable blunders. I respect Seeman, and I have nothing against EPS or Vijay personally. But, Vijay is a newcomer. He needs to get his hands and feet dirty on the ground and face rigorous testing before being trusted with such a high polling percentage. Projecting these kinds of numbers for TVK this early is unhealthy for a democracy. I want to see Vijay win his seat, enter the Assembly, and be tested by his work over the next few years. Handing over a high % numbers now feels like letting a local cricket club take over a national squad. I understand the national squad needs a major reset, but you don't allow skipping the domestic league to head straight to the World Cup final.

I'm surprised there were no proper arrangements made for public travel. (#Chennai #TNElecetion2026) The government certainly bears responsibility, but the lapse isn't theirs alone, private companies and individuals share part of the blame too. If people planned to travel to their hometowns to vote, they should have booked their train or bus tickets earlier instead of waiting until the last minute. Given how things operate under the M.K Stalin led advertisement model government, voters should have anticipated possible issues and prepared alternatives. At the same time, private companies could have supported employees better by allowing work from home and enabling them to travel earlier, say by April 21. Instead, poor planning across the board has led to unnecessary chaos, leaving people stranded. Simply inaugurating infrastructure or naming bus stops isn't enough, what people needed was practical action. As the caretaker Chief Minister, Stalin should have ensured additional buses and smoother arrangements for voters. @mkstalin

@MagicianStory @muthuvelsridhar @parthiban_raja @chnmharish Also, as he said delimitation was opposed by almost every party in South India as "Political parties" and not as a "State Government". TVK opposed it as a party, NTK opposed it as a party, the same way DMK as a party opposed it and not as a Govt.

@MagicianStory @muthuvelsridhar @parthiban_raja @chnmharish Speak something logically, once they announce the code of conduct the govt will have no power in the state level. And this delimitation, it's related to the country. It was voted and withdrawn from the parliament and not in the State Legislative Assembly.

DMK has released a comprehensive manifesto, structured as a clear 5-year blueprint and masterplan. Here are a few highlights : 1. Women in Senior Private-Sector Roles: A special scheme will encourage women to take up senior management roles in private companies. For women employed in such posts, 10% of their salary will be subsidized to the company. To make it easier for women to work in industrial cities, 1,000 childcare centers will be established. 2. AI Workforce Protection: Sectors likely to face job losses due to AI will be continuously studied. Workers in affected sectors will be provided reskilling and alternative training. An advisory council chaired by the Chief Minister will lead Tamil Nadu AI Mission 2.0. This is recognized as a social justice responsibility. 3. AI Startup & MSME Support: GPU compute credits will be provided to AI-sector startups. AI Clinics will be established in 10 MSME-active districts, modelled on Germany's Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Centres, so small industries can test and adopt AI without heavy investment. 4. Zero Dropout & School Education: Tamil Nadu will be elevated to a Zero Dropout State. The breakfast scheme will be extended from Class 5 to Class 8, benefiting around 15 lakh students. School students will be taught Civic Education covering proper conduct, road rules, social justice, gender awareness, and respectful use of social media. 5. Scientific Thinking & Patents: Students' scientific thinking and skills will be encouraged to nurture young scientists, and steps will be taken to secure patents for their discoveries. An international science conference with global scientists will be held once every two years. 6. 90% GER: By 2030, all students in Tamil Nadu will pursue higher education. "College Dream" guidance will begin from Class 9. This includes 100% Smart Classrooms by 2030, 300+ libraries with digital sections, 1,000 model schools, STEM parks in higher secondary schools, and a target of 90% Gross Enrollment Ratio. 7. Higher Education Hubs & Foreign Access: Special higher-education hubs will be created in 10 backward regions with model schools, ITIs, colleges, premier national institutions, hostels, skill centers, and co-working spaces. A special scheme will support students from BC/MBC/DNC communities to study in foreign universities, with the government bearing travel and tuition fees. 8. AI Education, Skill Registry & Job Matching: AI-related courses will be made mandatory across all degree disciplines — within three years, around 8 lakh students will graduate with AI knowledge. An AI-powered Skill Registry will record qualifications, certificates, training, and achievements of students and job seekers in real time. A Skill Matching Portal will connect employers and youth. This will also support Naan Mudhalvan 2.0 and globally recognized skill certification. 9. Student Startups & Global Talent Gateway: Startup centers in universities and colleges will prepare 1 lakh students for entrepreneurship in five years. "Global Talent Gateway" centers will be established in Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Madurai, Salem, and Coimbatore as training and research hubs. 10. Industrial Investment & GCCs: Tamil Nadu will attract ₹18 lakh crore in foreign investment, create 50 lakh jobs, and raise exports to $120 billion. Under "Make in Tamil Nadu," every district will get at least one modern industrial park, one special cluster, and one common facility center. 500 Global Capability Centres will be established by 2030. A semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem will attract ₹50,000 crore. Chennai will be developed into a global AVGC-XR hub with ₹10,000 crore investment and 20,000 jobs. 6 regional technology hubs, 100 deep-tech startups, and 6 innovation labs will be created. 11. Exports, MSMEs & SIPCOT: A "Product of Tamil Nadu" brand will promote state-made products globally. TN Trade Offices will be established in Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. 50 new SIPCOT parks will be set up (building on 33 parks that created 31 lakh jobs), along with 10 Mega Plug-and-Play Parks and 10 handloom parks. 12. IMR, MMR & Senior Citizens' Health: Special measures will be taken in maternal and child welfare so that Tamil Nadu becomes first in India in reducing IMR and MMR. A free service wing with a dedicated toll-free number will be created in all government medical college hospitals to support senior citizens' health. Special screening camps will detect diabetes, blood pressure, and cancer at early stages. 13. Agriculture — Farming, Technology & Markets: Cultivation of exotic (foreign) crops such as blueberry, dragon fruit, and kiwi will be encouraged across 2,500 acres. Drones will be promoted through an e-rental scheme with training for youth and women. 5 crore palmyra seeds will be planted with products marketed through Aavin. Organic farming will be increased from 40,000 hectares to 1 lakh hectares and natural farming increased fivefold in five years. "Agro-industrial parks" will be created in Pattukkottai, Krishnagiri, Ooty, Yercaud, Kodaikanal, Theni, Ramanathapuram, Tenkasi, Tiruvannamalai, Salem, Pollachi, Oddanchatram, and Tiruvarur. 14. Urban Infrastructure & Zero Waste: FSI and building norms reviewed against major Indian cities. New Global Cities near Tiruchirappalli, Madurai, Coimbatore, and Salem. All urban water bodies will be restored with public walkways. Complete Streets will be developed in corporation areas. Modern cultural auditoriums will be built in all major corporations. Public toilets under PPP in busy areas. Solid waste restructured on Japan's Kamikatsu zero-waste model — old dumps cleared through bio-mining. ESG policy framework for industries. 15. Model Villages: The Uthamar Gandhi Model Village Scheme will develop villages with urban-level amenities, markets, sports infrastructure, restored water bodies, and non-farm livelihoods. 16. Welfare Schemes: The new "Ilatharasi" scheme will provide ₹8,000 coupons per family to women in non-income-tax-paying families to purchase or replace household appliances from nearby shops. Monthly assistance under the Kalaignar Women's Entitlement Scheme will be increased from ₹1,000 to ₹2,000. Under Pudhumai Penn and Tamil Puthalvan, monthly assistance for students will be increased from ₹1,000 to ₹1,500. 17. Balanced District Development: Districts below the state average in growth will receive special development plans covering roads, transport, housing, drinking water, education, and healthcare. Total special allocation: ₹20,000 crore. 18. Tamil AI Ecosystem: A Tamil-language AI data repository will be built to help develop Tamil LLMs and Tamil AI tools. A Tamil-AI Fellowship will also be provided in educational institutions. 19. Classical Tamil Conference: A grand "Classical Tamil Conference" will be held in Chennai with participation from international Tamil scholars and language experts. Overall, the manifesto is brilliantly done and it’s hard to keep it concise. One of the best manifestos I’ve read and it certainly stands out in this election. 😂"Architect of modern Tamil Nadu” for building the Kathipara flyover?. Elsewhere, CMs are delivering sea links, tunnels, coastal roads, multiple expressways, even 2–3 greenfield airports within a term or 2. Meanwhile, two decades ago Bengaluru and Hyderabad weren’t even in the same league and today they’ve surged ahead. When the bar for being called an “architect” is this low, the outcomes unfortunately reflect it.

@grok @OpenAI Bottom line: Chennai does need a second airport. But the project’s legitimacy will depend on whether the final EIA proves zero compromise on flood risk and environmental safeguards. Data wins the debate — implementation decides the outcome. 6/6

Macha, ChatGPT da hit the cons spot on—displacement, env damage, fertile land loss are real & protests hit 1000+ days. But full facts: Chennai airport caps at 3.5cr pax by 2028; Parandur (5746 acres, 13 villages) for 10cr long-term, jobs/economy boost. Latest Jan26: 1500+ acres acquired, SIA audit 90% done (EIA next), comp packages revising for rehab/loans/businesses. 26.5% site water bodies (flood buffer study flags +10-12k cusecs runoff risk to Chennai). Govt claims sustainable fixes; critics say real estate push + wetland violations. Supremacy move: vital infra ONLY with ironclad EIA, zero flood compromise & fair deals. OpenAI full 2/2? Let's settle with data! 🚀

@grok @OpenAI Fair, transparent resettlement packages that sustain local economies. If these conditions are enforced, Parandur can become a long-term aviation hub without repeating past urban flood mistakes. 5/6
