Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian: The nature of the Zionist regime is state terrorism. Yet US aggression against Iran and the assassination of the martyred Leader sets a new precedent in international disputes that will destroy global legal norms. If the world fails to stand firm, its flames will burn many.

@NewReaganCaucus @CountryFirstRep A very small price. The entitlement in the country at the moment is depressing. Does no one recall the actual rationing of foods and fuels during WW2? I guess it is nice that we're all so spoiled and have been able to fight wars with so little inconvenience.

I'm a NO! $200 billion could fund five years of enhanced ACA subsidies that Republicans just let expire or nearly a million of new affordable housing units across the country. I will not vote for a bill that supports an illegal war and drives up costs for my constituents.

✈️ Brrrrrrt. 🔥 Back to the Future. A-10s over the Gulf hunting Iranian boats. No better sign of USAF, USN, IDF joint air dominance — or air superiority in operational terms, i.e. the degree of control in the air that permits friendly forces to conduct operations without prohibitive interference from enemy air and missile threats. When that control reaches the point where even a low-and-slow, high-signature platform like the Warthog can operate freely — loitering for extended periods, visually acquiring and engaging surface targets with its GAU-8 cannon, Mavericks, or APKWS rockets, and returning unscathed — it means the enemy's integrated air defence system (IADS), fighter aircraft, surface-to-air missiles, and early-warning radars have been so thoroughly degraded or suppressed that they pose no effective threat. At minimum, Iran's southern Gulf-facing flank is bereft of interdiction and defence. Gen. Dan "Razin" Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, confirmed it himself at yesterday's Pentagon briefing: A-10s and AH-64 Apaches are now in the fight across the southern flank, hunting and killing fast-attack watercraft in the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM had already confirmed A-10 participation within the first 48 hours of Operation Epic Fury. The Warthogs will now run a continuous clean-up mission. Sustain it for a few weeks and the IRGCN's operational fast-attack fleet — estimated at over 1,500 craft, with thousands more Basij-reserve coastal boats behind them — will shrink considerably. CENTCOM reported over 100 Iranian naval vessels destroyed as of 16 March; expect that figure to climb. 🇺🇸🏛️ The irony is exquisite. HASC and SASC have blocked USAF A-10 phase-out attempts at least five if not seven times in major NDAA cycles (primarily 2014–2022), with continued restrictions even now. The FY2026 NDAA mandated a minimum inventory of 103 A-10s through 30 September 2026, barring the Air Force from using FY2026 funds to retire, reclassify, or store aircraft below that threshold. Over 160 Warthogs remain in service. The committees have acted as steadfast defenders of the platform, prioritising its close air support role, basing impacts, and the absence of a perfect replacement over USAF modernisation arguments. This has extended the beloved Warthog's service life well beyond successive CSAFs' preferences. Gens Allvin, Brown, and Welsh — briefed by the A5/7 likes of Lt. Gen. David A. Harris — consistently endorsed A-10 divestment in budget requests and congressional testimony, framing it as necessary to fund high-end contested-warfare priorities over legacy single-role platforms. Even current CSAF Gen Kenneth Wilsbach, a multi-type fighter pilot (F-15/F-16/F-22), aligns with the service's long-standing view that the A-10 is ill-suited for peer threats — despite its proven utility in precisely the sort of permissive environment Epic Fury has created. Then came the fog and vagaries of war. And thus came the A-10. Like the German Gepard — a Cold War air defence system repurposed to devastating effect in Ukraine — legacy platforms find new life when the operational picture demands it. Let's hear Wilsbach speak soon, now that there is Brrrrrrt again. Resilience and adaptation is everything. @ChuckPfarrer @SpencerGuard @WarintheFuture @JeffFisch @hopfifi @DaftWhiskyPilot

Perhaps I wasn't clear: The MILITARY execution of the decapitation strategy worked beautifully (i.e., most of the important leadership figures were eliminated), but its objective (i.e., a collapse of the regime) wasn't met.

The US and Israel's execution of their Iranian leadership decapitation strategy has worked beautifully, but it hasn't produced the desired results. The regime lumbers on, and the Iranian masses haven't taken to the streets. The regime's highly decentralized command structure, particularly within the IRGC, remains intact. The US and Israel's relentless destruction of Iran's missile and drone assets has been impressive, but, even by their own admission, many (if not most of) the locations of the manufacturing facilities are unknown to them. And so, unless the supply chain has been sufficiently disrupted, the regime's assembly lines continue to hum. It looks like the war is slowing down to the pace sought by Iranian war planners: A grinding conflict of attrition that it hopes will ultimately bore or frustrate Trump and will result in Gulf State pressure on the US to abandon its efforts to topple the regime.
Open Source Intel@Osint613

Benjamin Netanyahu: "What do we see? What happens if the, are there any signs that the Iranian regime is cracking?" "A lot of signs. A lot of signs. I wish I could divulge all of them, but I see that." "But will I tell you, will I commit right now that it's gonna collapse? I could tell you that we're working to create the conditions for it to collapse, but it may survive. It may not."

The F-35 fanboys are having a very rough day between the A-10 being used to hunt boat-drones because it is cheaper to fly and an Iranian surface to air, jet engine powered, loitering drone getting a piece of an F-35.

New to MilX? You missed the A-10 funding war, think tank establishment vs. “stubborn” warplane supporters. It was epic. I stayed mostly out, just suggested giving them to the Merchant Marine to protect ships. My take got laughed at THE hardest by the “experts” with PhDs.

Hasn't produced the desired results....yet. We're 3 weeks into this thing. And cracks are appearing in the Iranian regime. Hegseth just said that US strikes hit an all-campaign high. How is that "slowing"? Grinding conflict of attrition? What on the US-Israeli side is being attrited? JDAMs? Jet fuel? I encourage you to read some history and get some perspective. Despite the blazing speed of this operation, there is still a way to go and it will take some time to unfold. I guess I'm hoping Trump has more patience and persistence than you seem to.

LYMAN: A failed Russian maneuver attempt east of the city was engaged and destroyed by UKR forces. The engagement near Lyman on March 19, 2026, involved a failed Russian mechanized assault that Ukrainian forces repelled decisively using a combination of drones (primarily FPV), remotely placed mines, and drone-directed artillery. The contact occurred in open terrain / fields on approach axes to the urban area. Russian forces committed a sizable mechanized column, including tanks, heavy APCs ( BTR-70Ms and BTR-82ATs), BMP infantry fighting vehicles ( 5× BMP-3s and 2× BMP-2s and a large number of light mobility vehicles (over 40 ATVs/quad bikes/buggies).

For those of you not familiar. The A-10 Warthog is the ugliest, most absurdly beautiful killing machine to ever take flight. A flying chunk of titanium molded around a gatlin gun style cannon; the equally absurd 30mm GAU-8. It commands the adoration of troops on the ground as the sound of its unmistakable mating call the “brrrrrrp” overhead means several enemy fighters have been neutralized. It flies low and slow delivering death more intimately than any other fighter jet could fathom. Cloaked in armor, it’s rumored to be able to take damage to 70% of its airframe and still land with ease. It doesn’t need a long or even paved runway. The uppity nerds running the Air Force have decided to “phase them out” this year… yet here they are continuing to “get some”. I personally think that @USMC should take the them over… they fit perfectly in our “take old shit and make it great” culture.

The tweet to which I responded said, "nothing in the pace of strikes or the US force posture in the area indicates that." I offered a different perspective. So, my statement was not a "flex", it was a counter-point. But you're too stupid and reactive to see that. Your profound ignorance has prevented you from realizing the numerous attacks Iran has orchestrated against the US and other NATO nations, or the threat posed by their growing missile and nuclear programs. It must be hard to be so stupid and ignorant, so I guess I understand why you are so touchy and reactive. Here's a flex: The USA and Israel have completely dismantled Iran's military assets in a month. A feat not seen since the Iraq war of 2003.

I might argue that the USA and Israel do have supremacy. They can run operations at will anywhere in Iran without facing serious interference, despite ongoing risk. Per USAF 3-01: "Air supremacy prevents effective interference. It does not imply that no interference exists." [Italics original]

7% of Americans support ground operations in Iran. Let me repeat that. 7%. You can’t do anything with 7% support, let alone taking the very serious step of putting American troops in harms way.

WASHINGTON, March 19 (Reuters) - Some 65% of Americans believe U.S. President Donald Trump will order troops into a large-scale ground war in Iran but only 7% support the idea, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll that closed on Thursday.
