$ASTS: AST to raising capital to pull forward launch capacity. My read is $ for more launches outside of Blue Origin. The use of proceeds language is very intriguing. AST SpaceMobile Announces Proposed Private Offering of $1.0 Billion of Convertible Senior Notes Due 2034 "AST SpaceMobile intends to use the remaining net proceeds from the Notes Offering to pursue an expanding universe of growth initiatives and secure additional access to orbit for its space-based cellular broadband network, including partnerships and/or acquisitions to further vertically integrate its business and mitigate risks associated with third-party launch providers. AST SpaceMobile currently does not have any understandings or agreements with respect to any such strategic transactions." businesswire.com/news/home/2026…

$ASTS today announced BlueBird 11 is on its way from Midland to Cape Canaveral ahead of next month's orbital launch. BlueBirds 12 and 13 will follow soon. Production continues through BlueBird 38 in Texas. The key new information isn't that BlueBird 11 is shipping; we already expected that. The important part is $ASTS explicitly saying: "Production continues through BlueBird 38 in Texas." Previously, management consistently said production was through BlueBird 37. Today is the first public mention of BlueBird 38 being in production. April 2026: Through BlueBird 32 June 17 launch: Through BlueBird 37 Today: Through BlueBird 38 That means: April to June: +5 satellites June to early July: +1 satellite Current effective production rate: 1 completed satellite roughly every 10–15 days or around 2–3 satellites/month That aligns almost perfectly with their launch cadence. BB8-10 launched together BB11-13 launch next month The company still targets launches every 1–2 months. To sustain that cadence, manufacturing has to stay ahead of launches. How many satellites are already built? A rough estimate would be: Already launched: BB6 BB8 BB9 BB10 Shipping / launch-ready: BB11 BB12 BB13 Likely in final integration/testing: BB14–18 Earlier production: BB19–25 Mid assembly: BB26–32 Early assembly/components: BB33–38 Obviously, these ranges are estimates, but the overall production pipeline appears healthy. $ASTS hasn't slowed production. A struggling manufacturer would say: "We're focused on delivering the next three satellites." Instead, $ASTS is effectively saying: "The next three are shipping, and we're already building another 25+ behind them." That significantly lowers manufacturing execution risk. We have: ✅ BB11 is complete and shipping. ✅ BB12–13 are essentially finished. ✅ Production line is continuously moving. ✅ No evidence of manufacturing bottlenecks. ✅ Production now extends at least to BB38, which shows confidence in supply chain and factory throughput. Keep Blue Birds coming.
