Is 2-2,5% totale oppervlakte NL (ong.

The ozone layer disappearing is not a “hoax.” It was a very real issue that was identified, and then back when countries used to still collectively believe in science, we all made changes to stop it. A summary: We stopped the ozone layer from disappearing mainly through global action to phase out ozone-depleting substances (ODS). The biggest changes were: 1. The Montreal Protocol (1987) •Almost every country in the world signed on. •It committed nations to phase out chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and other chemicals (halons, carbon tetrachloride, methyl chloroform, HCFCs) that destroy ozone. •It is often called the most successful environmental treaty ever. 2. Bans and Phase-outs of CFCs •CFCs were once used in aerosol sprays, refrigerators, air conditioners, and foam insulation. •They release chlorine atoms into the stratosphere, which break down ozone molecules. •By the mid-1990s, most CFC production and use had been banned worldwide. 3. Replacement with Safer Alternatives •Industry switched to hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) first (less damaging but still harmful) and then hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), which don’t deplete ozone (though some are strong greenhouse gases). •More recently, the Kigali Amendment (2016) set targets to phase down HFCs as well, to address climate change. 4. Monitoring and Enforcement •Governments set up monitoring systems and gave industries incentives to innovate with alternatives. •Scientists and agencies like NASA and the UN tracked ozone recovery and verified compliance. Result: Because of these changes, the ozone hole has been slowly healing. Scientists expect the ozone layer to return to 1980 levels by mid-century (2040s–2060s) if current policies are maintained. Climate change is also not a “hoax,” it is a very real danger, and unlike in the past, billionaire propagandists have successfully been able to convince a substantial number of people to parrot their talking points, because they care about money and only money at any cost - even destroying the planet. Congratulations for carrying water for them. These braindead takes are going to destroy life as we know it. ⬇️

@AnnieAndrewsMD Acid rain, the ozone disappearing, the next ice age were all “science” that turned out to be hoaxes. Man made climate change is the biggest hoax yet.

The rapidly warming Arctic is reshaping our atmosphere by weakening the temperature gradient. This change allowing polar air to spill farther south & produce intense cold outbreaks even as global average temperatures continue to rise.

My second Saturday column is now live at @RestoringWest—on what the West must confront, and what it must recover.
Restoring the West@RestoringWest

The West is worth defending — and more people are ready to join that fight than many elites would like to admit. In her latest weekly column, @Ayaan reflects on why people across the world are still hungry for a serious defense of Western civilization, and why this moment demands moral clarity, courage, and resolve. Dear Sadiq Khan, I think some of the prejudice to do with 'singling out Muslims' is to to with their stated intention to kill 'infidels', expecially the bit about beheading them You see, the other religions don't promise that
Sadiq Khan@SadiqKhan

British values mean defending everyone’s right to practise their faith freely. In London, I’m proud Christians, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims and others can celebrate in Trafalgar Square. Singling out Muslims isn’t ‘British values’ - it’s prejudice. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…

Via @telegraaf #mustread

In the aftermath of the 9/11 Islamist terrorist attacks, my former boss Margaret Thatcher wrote: "We have harboured those who hated us, tolerated those who threatened us and indulged those who weakened us." How right she was, and her words ring true today, especially in the UK.

Iran has kept the Straight of Hormuz toll-free for decades despite being vilified, sanctioned, and Isolated. Egypt charges $300,000 – $700,000+ per transit through the Suez Canal. Ultra-large container ships or tankers can exceed $1 million. Panama charges $150,000 – $450,000 per transit. Large Neopanamax ships cost up to $500,000+ to pass the Panama Canal. Turkey charges fees for the Bosporus Strait. Canada charges fees for the St Lawrence Seaway. The United States charges for the St Lawrence Seaway. But Iran is a bad country.

It's because I had physics in high school that I doubt the catastrophic warming effect of the CO2 molecule. And that is also why I am convinced there is NO climate crisis. I also paid attention in psychology and history and recognize fearmongering when I see it. Indeed going to school is the best remedy against manipulation by means of fear.
