Jaguars followed the consensus big board in 2020 when they picked CJ Henderson and K'Lavon Chaisson over Justin Jefferson

@foosball789 Arguably their best player JSN was taken 10 spots worse than his consensus big board ranking (#10) at #20 ovr (the public liked him better than the NFL and were proven correct in this case)

@jacklich10 I respect the grades, but Seattle is damn good at drafting. Them looking in the middle of the pack shows the difference between grades and results

Five year NFL Consensus Draft grades by team. It's really no surprise the Ravens and Eagles are at the top. And the 49ers and Jaguars once again rounding out the rear...

@jacklich10 Is there a link between DCOE and position? Seems like consensus board might push up non-premium positions like RB, TE, LB, S

The largest Non-QB steals since 2016 according to the NFL Consensus Big Board in rounds 1 & 2. Caleb Downs & Rueben Bain make the list in 2026

@HashTaguars The Ravens '22 class has the most accumulated DCOE of any class in the last five years. This is not who the best drafting teams are, it's who deviates from media consensus opinions. Personally, I'd much rather my team be near the top of this than the bottom though!

The largest Non-QB reaches since 2016 according to the NFL Consensus Big Board. Only one player makes the top 36 in this years class

35/36 draft "reaches" since '16 were R1 or R2 picks and the last one was a R3 pick. Steals similar to Jermod McCoy this year who drop 80+ slots to day 3 are disproportionately likely to have medical issues that the public does not have access to, so I limited this chart to R1/2

@foot_ball__guy @Chp_Spinna There is one player on this list drafted outside the top 60 players in the class, and 26 of them are R1 picks. There should be many many good NFL players on this list

I think I'd have taken all of those players as first position off the board in this year's class! Plus Trevor Goosby probably OT1 in this class too

Like very possible old takes exposed but 1) Jeremiah Smith 2) Colin Simmons and Dylan Stewart >>> Arvell Reese (not even close imo) 3) David m’fin Stone 4) Leonard Moore & Ellis Robinson my GOD crazy potential

The top 10 of the ‘27 draft has a chance to be an insane list of prospects and I can’t wait to hear how the class is bad come next season!

I think it's fascinating that people aren't really that upset about player rankings but this year got insanely bent out of shape about the concept of having multiple rankings combined in some fashion

My contribution to the consensus board discussion: it’s data. Data is good. Data is not the enemy of film, experience or expertise. Data allows you to analyze your process to check yourself and stay ahead. It’s important to know how to parse it without completely dismissing it

@HashTaguars Yes the public is wrong all the time! (but so is the NFL). For a bunch of day 1 & 2 picks on here it's not a great haul imo. But you're free to think otherwise, I just like visualizing the data 👊

@HashTaguars It's absolutely the argument. "Consensus" is just aggregated big boards across public draftniks. The public did not think these players were worthy of their draft capital and would have rather selected other available players at the time. I just gave a few examples

@jacklich10 That’a not really the argument tho. Consensus says the players picked were improperly evaluated on consensus board. That’s my point

@tezah__ There's two of them? And they play non-premium positions. Solid picks/players though. Point is the overall trend, most of these guys were significantly worse than alternatives

@getreddy4this Hard to be #1 as a non-first round pick. It's draft pick adjusted. Makes the Stribling pick crazier, biggest after R1 reach since 2016
