Life is amazing: -gyms exist -Christopher Nolan movies exist -hot girls outnumber even moderately put-together dudes 2000 to 1 -you and your wife can get drunk at a dimly-lit steakhouse then go home and watch Titanic and smash all night without a condom -you and your friends can hit the gym then smoke a joint at a Coldplay concert -every food item in the world has been hunted and gathered for you (grocery stores) -you could be working 16 hour days in a coal mine in a third world country -you’re spinning on a sphere in an infinite universe and the fact you’re alive is a 1 in 500 trillion miracle If anyone ever complains in front of you tell them they’re an idiot :)

@conspiracyb0t If you get your way, the de facto replacement for the Fed would be the head of JP Morgan with no mandate to increase employment or stop small banks from failing. Income tax and all the other evils you mention would be unaffected.

Most people don't seem to realize this, but.. If we ended the Federal Reserve we wouldn't need an income tax. Imagine that. You'd still receive your same salary, but the only tax would be sales tax on non-essential items you buy. That's all you need to fund the government. The whole thing was a scam, to rip us off from the start.

@DoctorLemma I have seen this happen with someone I knew in college. It took a lot of nerve to stay there dancing by himself until other people joined him.

Sixteen years ago, one man stood alone on a grassy hill at a music festival in Washington State, USA, and started dancing by himself. People glanced over and looked away. Some laughed. His roommate leaned in and warned him people were filming him. He did not stop. Then one stranger got up and joined him. Then another. Then the hillside tipped. Within minutes, hundreds of people were sprinting from across the field to be part of something that, thirty seconds earlier, had been one man being laughed at in a field. Someone filming from higher up the hill said quietly: "See what one man can do. One man can change the world." The clip spread across the internet in 2009. Entrepreneur Derek Sivers played it at a TED conference to explain how movements actually begin. Not with the first person brave enough to start, he argued, but with the first person willing to join them. Collin Wynter, the man dancing alone, later said he had no idea he had done anything special. He was just tired of watching everyone sit still.

Jesus' earliest followers saw him as the figure in Daniel who sat at the right hand of the father, and who was described as coming with the clouds of heaven. "He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power." Christianity's understanding of Jesus was also affected by the figure of Metatron in the Book of Enoch, who was a human who was transformed into an archangel. One of the later books in the Enoch series caused the series to be widely declared heretical among Jews because it depicted two thrones in heaven and identified Metatron too closely with God. Jesus did say he was God, but he also said he was not God. He described himself as the son of God and the way to God. John says "No man has at any time seen God. The only son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made him known." Paul wrote that "although he was in the form of God, [Jesus] did not count equality with God as a thing to be grasped...." Today, we think of man and God as two exhaustive and mutually exclusive categories. Many people in antiquity saw those as more flexible categories, and did not always worry about the details.

So, I’m convinced that Jesus never claimed to be God. Now, this is completely independent from whether he was God. But I don’t think he told people he was. Here’s why: There’s no mention of him definitively claiming to be God in Mark, Matthew, or Luke, the three earliest Gospels. This would put us at 3 or 6 different sources before John — depending on if you believe they were actually Mark, Matthew and Luke, or if the latter two used Mark, Q, L, and M as sources. Either way, it’s hard to imagine that if Jesus claimed to be God that not a single one of them would’ve mentioned it. We don’t get definitive claims of Jesus calling himself God until John, which is the latest and most theological Gospel. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m skeptical about the historical reliability of John, given how late it is and how much it differs from the Synoptic Gospels. Moreover, Jesus tended to downplay when people asked him if he were claiming to God, picking up stones. I understand there are different interpretations of “Son of Man.” But I don’t think it’s historically accurate to say Jesus claimed to he God, unless we are convinced John is reliable.
Bobby Burack@burackbobby_

I’ve been struggling more with belief lately. And I hate it. I felt convinced, then I didn’t. I want to hear from all of you— to learn from you: Do you believe in God? Why or why not? How confident are you? If you want to keep your response between us: bburack16@gmail.com.

@OMApproach The most likely explanation for the Ark in Eritrea is that it is an ancient artifact, but it is not the original.

Do you believe the original Ark of the Covenant from the First Temple is stored here, in the “Chapel of the Tablet” within the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion complex in Ethiopia? Only one person at a time is chosen to guard the Ark—a monk known as the Guardian of the Ark. He is chosen for life and lives in isolation at the chapel in Axum. Once appointed, he never leaves the chapel grounds, devotes his life to prayer and guarding the Ark, and is the only human permitted to see it. Not even patriarchs, bishops, government officials, or foreign visitors are allowed to view it.
Open Minded Approach@OMApproach

A few things caught my eye in the declassified CIA remote viewing session from the 1980s, which attempted to locate the Ark of the Covenant. You can see from the document that the remote viewer was only given a target number, yet he begins describing the Ark of the Covenant in detail. The descriptions are quite interesting and support my theory that the Ark is part of the Egyptian religion, and that the Jewish religion is a continuation of the ancient primordial tradition. Now here’s where it gets interesting! Thread (1/11)🧵

Jeremiah also said: ⁸Therefore the Lord Almighty says this: “Because you have not listened to my words, ⁹I will summon all the peoples of the north and my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon,” declares the Lord, “and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants and against all the surrounding nations. I will completely destroy them and make them an object of horror and scorn, and an everlasting ruin. Israel as a people continued to exist. The political states of Israel and Judah did not.

Things have just got real in Tel Aviv, and Israel. The actual pain and destruction have begun. Earlier today, Iran targeted a train station in the center of the country. I didn't want to draw conclusions from it, and waited to see if it was the onset of something new. Now, there's confirmation. Iran has just destroyed one of Israel's largest train stations in Tel Aviv, and potentially incapacitated a major part of train movement in the entire country. Israel is a tiny country and has just one major north-south railway, with the biggest stations situated in Haifa and Tel Aviv. Cutting the train movement there means Israel has no mass transit (the roads are heavily jammed routinely). These are also major transportation hubs, with Israel's busiest and most strategic roads going nearby; breaking some bridges along these roads puts the entire center of the country at a standstill. This also has far-reaching military consequences: the train is the main transportation solution for IDF soldiers. If what I suspect is taking place becomes reality, hundreds of thousands of soldiers will not be able to travel to or from home with any measure of efficacy. More importantly, it's going to become extremely more difficult for Israel to move large number of soldiers north or south when a major call for reservation is announced. A logistical nightmare. The economic implications of the train being disabled are astronomical: hundreds of thousands of Israelis travel to work each day by train. This could all be foreseen in advance. A year and a half ago I wrote an article titled 'Iran can end Israel in a few Hours', where I anticipated precisely this scenario. - Iran has started the strategic destruction of Israel.

One thing that could quickly change public opinion would be a serious of serious prosecutions for corruption or Epstein-related charges. It will help that JD Vance was given responsibility in this area. It also assumes that Trump will be able to extricate himself from the Iran fiasco fairly quickly.

Tim Pool: "Right now we’re expecting Trump, the Republicans to lose the midterms." Hold on. Eight months out, and we're already surrendering? We're already declaring defeat as if there's NOTHING WE CAN DO TO WIN? Well if that's the mindset, then why are we bothering to pretend we're still a political party at all? All year long, I get texts from politicians telling me "what's at stake"... ...and it always infuriates me because I know from experience that I'd get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for my investment. Because it's TIME FOR THE GOP TO LOSE AGAIN. You can literally predict it at this point. Government shut down again: NOTHING WE CAN DO. SAVE Act not passed: NOTHING WE CAN DO. RINOs keep selling us out: NOTHING WE CAN DO. Republican Congress tanks the MAGA AGENDA: NOTHING WE CAN DO. Leftist judges defy the sitting president: NOTHING WE CAN DO. Mayors and Governors defy the sitting president: NOTHING WE CAN DO. ILHAN OMAR helps ILLEGALS come to our country to STEAL BILLIONS: NOTHING WE CAN DO! So the serious question becomes: If the GOP won't FIGHT FOR US AND OUR COUNTRY... If they're on a win/lose TIMETABLE with the Democrats... ...WTF do we even need them for?

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.
