@DuncanCastles @Transfersdotcom @TransfersCast @premierleague @TheIFAB For someone that’s made a career in talking utter nonsense about Man Utd you sure hate them playing well!
English

Absolutely not in favour of VAR overturns of goals - particularly after something as spectacular as Patrick Dorgu’s finish. But once again Premier League officials fail to apply the Laws properly.

@jimhamilton4 Agree .. BUT rugby can’t go on with games like last night. Games taking 130 mins with endless TMO and referee interventions won’t grow the game. Worst game from a viewing perspective I can remember.
English

@UnitedStandMUFC Why did nobody ask him why he told Garnacho to leave at end of season and it ended up all over the press. Great way to hold his value.. now he’s trying to row back. Too late.. everyone knows! Everytime Amorim speaks he causes the hole to get bigger!
English

@NoLayingUp Shit look when watching with your kid and he’s throwing clubs ever other hole!

I’m one of Rory’s biggest fans but it’s becoming hard to support him. His behaviour of late has been dismissive, disinterested, arrogant and hard to like (on and off course). His game has clearly suffered from this mindset. Strange that he now seems content and lacking motivation with 5 majors. With his talent I would have thought he may have wanted more.

McIlroy has not spoken to the press after any of his first rounds in the three Majors so far this year after once again skipping media at the US Open golfmonthly.com/news/rory-mcil…

Labour’s Cover-Up Just Took a Major Hit
On Wednesday night, a small group of campaigners outmanoeuvred @UKLabour run @OldhamCouncil and forced them to reject @YvetteCooperMP’s toothless local inquiry into the gang rape of Oldham’s children.
This wasn’t just a victory. It was a carefully planned sabotage of the Home Secretary’s plan to keep the cover-up alive. Because let’s be clear: her so-called “inquiries” were never meant to deliver justice. They were designed to bury the truth about the industrial-scale gang rape of tens of thousands - if not over 100,000 - working-class White girls across the UK by gangs of predominantly Pakistani men.
And now? Her plan is in ruins.
Oldham was the only town named in Yvette Cooper’s list of five. But now, every councillor in the town has condemned her inquiry as powerless and incapable of getting anywhere near the truth.
The opposition leaders in the House of Commons, including Conservatives @KemiBadenoch, @CPhilpOfficial, as well as Reform's @Nigel_Farage, @TiceRichard & @RupertLowe10 must now play their part. They must demand that Yvette Cooper stops shielding @UKLabour politicians involved in the cover-up and launches a full National Inquiry without any further delay.
They can’t ignore this. And neither can we.
_________
The Fight Isn’t Over. The Truth Won’t Expose Itself.
If you’re new here, my name is Raja Miah MBE. For six years, I’ve led the campaign that exposed how Labour politicians protected Pakistani Rape Gangs. You won’t see me on TV or in the mainstream press - that’s not by accident. The machine we’re up against doesn’t want the truth out.
No paywalls. No restrictions. Everything I do is free.
Unfortunately, our numbers aren’t where they need to be. We are up against a powerful machine: legacy media, politicians, police and public officials working together to bury the scale of this cover-up. To fight back, we need to grow.
My goal is simple - just 10 new newsletter subscribers a day. Through my newsletter, I document everything in detail - the evidence, the investigations, and the fight for justice. 100% free, though if you can afford to subscribe and financially support me, it costs as little as 75p a week or £30 for the year.

We cannot let the cover-up continue. The gang rape of our children will only stop if we hold to account those involved. Stand with me and help force a reckoning of the kind never seen in our lifetimes.

@chambleebrandel I love golf but I find the PGA tour virtually unwatchable. If you can’t get me to watch then the product is in trouble. Get your head out of the sand, this type of response is why nothing ever changes.
English

Let’s double click on this for a minute Rick.
First, the average commercial load for a PGA Tour broadcast is 18 minutes per hour, consistent with other sporting events that pay huge rights fees. And the broader audience disagrees with you that it’s a problem, as most people chose a higher commercial load for lower tier pricing in streaming choices last year.
Second, so called “weaker fields” has always been a problem, if one chooses to use that term. From 1950 on Hogan played basically just the majors. Nicklaus played a limited schedule throughout his career and from 1980-1996 (European players won 10 of the Masters in this span) most of the best players played in Europe and sparingly in the US (nobody said the PGA Tour was struggling with weak fields) and beginning in 1996 Tiger has played a limited schedule as has Rory here in the US. Applaud the fact that we have more golf: men, women, amateurs, collegiate, seniors and juniors get shown on TV now.
Third, slow play. I agree. The tour can do way more and do it better but it’s not necessarily a recent problem.
Finally, so called “boring courses” is a parochial criticism by the indoctrinated of any course that by providence wasn’t built beside the ocean or more specifically is not St. Andrews. The PGA Tour goes to Pebble Beach next week, and in a typical year goes to Riviera and no one would say the TPC Scottsdale is “boring” or for that matter the Seth Raynor pacific gem Waialae CC. The tour gives the golf world a mix of classics and gems, new and old, thick rough and no rough, long and short and hard and easy.
The PGA Tour is not exempt from criticism, and it can certainly change a few things for the better as can TV production, but it still remains the best Tour in the world, so let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water.
Rick Golfs@Top100Rick
So Justin Thomas has written a letter to his fellow players asking them to be more accessible to the fans to help make the PGA Tour better. Will this actually make you watch the PGA Tour? The real problems need to be fixed first: Commercial load! Weak fields Slow play Boring courses Justin’s letter is right on. It’s a start and the players should be more open to improving the product. Props to him. But nobody wants to watch 23 minutes of commercials in an hour broadcast.

@FabrizioRomano @RichFay If I’d played 426 games for Utd I wouldn’t accept this guy calling me out in public time after time without coming back at him. Right now Amorim looks out of his depth

Exited to get the new @adidas CODECHAOS golf shoes. Was a big fan of the last generation - great looks and performance - and these look like they're going to move things on still further. Report to follow after I wear them next Monday but in the meantime here's some pics ⛳️

@sistoney67 @Everton Was HM not starring for England that summer and being chased by all top clubs? Not sure it’s a fair comparison for a guy that can’t make the squad.
English

Feeling @Everton remains that Harry Maguire fee is the standard on this. Doubt Man Utd will go that high but may be room for negotiation. bbc.co.uk/sport/football…

@ShaneLowryGolf @jamiecweir Well said Shane. It’s great that Rory has friends like you around him.
English

From the outside looking in… this game is easy. But in reality it’s the worst game of all. We are very fortunate to get what we do from this game but over the last 24 hours it’s hit me. We do it for not only ourselves but for our family, friends and fans. What Rory has gone through is as tough as it gets in our game but I would like to encourage people if anything please be kind ☘️

English

@McIlroyRory So proud of you. You will be back stronger. Can’t wait to see you at Troon.
English

Sport can be so cruel. It’s why we love it. The keyboard warriors hammering Rory have never had the balls or talent to stand in the arena. “if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly. So that his place shall never be with those timid souls who neither know victory or defeat”. Roselvelt
