Denzel Washington played Steve Biko Morgan Freeman played Nelson Mandela Jennifer Hudson portrayed Winnie Mandela Don Cheadle portrayed Paul Rusesabagina Forest Whitaker played Idi Amin Danny Glover played Kwame Nkrumah Eriq La Salle portrayed Patrice Lumumba And the list goes on… For decades, African American actors were cast to portray African figures, and we did not complain the way you are now… Get over it!

@FerdyOmondi Do you think there is a chance someone else had a baby there and paid something in the region of 400k? Why are people not intelligent nowadays?

My son was delivered at AAR. I did not pay 400k. On the other hand, SHA did not even cover the full bed costs like NHIF used to. So yes I do have receipts.

@Kenyanbook More of comply so we increase visibility and hold people to account. In any case, why would you not comply with a legal provision?

@jackodeny As tax consultant, you’re basically arguing that small taxpayers should volunteer themselves as leverage against people who control enforcement agencies🤷🏿.That’s optimistic at best, naive at worst. Comply so they’ll comply, is just a theory that keeps the burden on the compliant.

@Kenyanbook @The_Kaigi Not morals. Their businesses will also have to issue eTIMS invoices. Then clear visibility by tax authorities. With increased visibility, compliance increases.

@jackodeny @The_Kaigi That logic assumes the same politicians accused of dodging taxes will suddenly feel morally cornered because wananchi complied. If they ignore the law now, why would compliance shame them into obedience? Enforcement compels the powerful; not moral example from the powerless.

CS Mbadi: I'm shocked to realise the man killed in Kitengela was a Luo by the way. Luos, we have lost lives. I do not think it's necessary now. Back then there was a cause, now there isn't. There's no reason to keep on dying.

What kept other communities in ODM was Raila Odinga. A charismatic, enigmatic ,inimitable personality. What also kept ODM national was its presidential run under Raila. There was a real hope to take power through a man they deeply admired. There's no Raila and no presidential run for ODM. What card will ODM use to retain a national outlook? William Ruto's aim is to offer a seat at the table for anyone in his broad-based government. Doesn't have be through ODM. So a prominent figure can look and think, even within Luo Nyanza, "If Ruto can accept me and my people without ODM, then why should I stay in ODM?"

Totally expected. And I have been making this point since the start. To begin with the story was bullshit. Nameless agents without addresses or photos or contact information were recruiting nameless people in unknown places in Kenya without any description of how they met what their phone numbers were, how they travelled, where they travelled to, what the training was, where it was etc etc. These were the interview subjects who, funny enough were in very clean uniforms with very well oiled and clean rifles (without magazines) despite ostensibly being in the thick of fighting (also battles and their dates were unnamed. The casualties themselves had single names; a Mr. Chege, a Mr. Omariba. Wholly unidentifiable. They had dead comrades from Kenya but couldn't remember names. This was absolute horsehit, Larry and it started 5 weeks ago in the back pages of the Daily Nation before you took over. There were dead people without bodies being buried in funerals where nobody was in attendance in cemeteries without names etc. Then it became that members of elite (lmao) units like SPEAR - not a unit but a programme in 27 countries where members are really just trained for 6 weeks to be able to work with the typical US Marines who is not elite in any conceivable way. Now it has become recruits from Qatar (where nobody can check) This is the worst told story ever. It sounds like an internship project by some drunk spooks somewhere in the backstreet bars of Nairobi. The effect has been to advertise for Wagner and if there were no recruits previously there will now be thousands. This will get people killed, Larry.

Some African men are still asking me how to join the Russian military despite all the Ukraine horror stories of a deadly war with drones, missiles, and land mines. Is this desperation, or delusion?

@YaGal_Eunndrio It’s not. You only hear the noise bcz you pay attention to anything Kenyan or anything associating with Kenya. Ask foreigners in a foreign land to mention top 5 African countries and Kenya won’t be mentioned by more than 70% of them

JUSTICE FOR MARION NAPEI SINKEET!! I never knew this lady, but I chose to support her not because I lacked the option to join those criticizing her, but because my integrity, conscience, and sound mind would not allow me to stay silent. I knew that what she was subjected to was wrong. What was done to her being recorded without consent and exposed to the world was cruel, degrading, and unlawful. I stood with her because it was the right thing to do. Ask yourselves this: what if she had taken her own life because of the shame, pressure, and online attacks? Would you still be abusing me for speaking up, or would you then be demanding the arrest of James Opande and asking why no one acted earlier? Pain only becomes real when it turns fatal or when it reaches our own homes. I may not know her personally, but she could be your sister, your wife, your daughter, your close friend or someone’s mother . She is a mother. She is a Kenyan. She deserves protection, dignity, and justice under the law. I cannot crucify her to please a crowd. Some have chosen to defend wrongdoing and call it loyalty. But wrong is wrong, no matter who commits it. If standing for what is right makes me unpopular, then so be it. I will continue to speak, because silence only empowers abusers. As Jesus said in John 8:7: “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Today you may attack me. Tomorrow, you may understand. And one day, you may be grateful that someone chose conscience over the crowd. EVEN A MURDERER DESERVES A FAIR HEARING!

Kenya loves lecturing Africa on economic sophistication until the data drops and reminds everyone that nearly half the country still lives in extreme poverty. Kingereza kwa mdomo, kwa ground umasikini mtupu. Majiraniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.
