Maybe @SpaceX can ask its engineers not to chant nationalist dogwhistles on the livestream please? 😒

@Matt_Lowne @tobynfighterok2 It’s a whole new engine design, there’s gonna be bugs
English

@tobynfighterok2 It's a fine excuse for earlier flights, but 12 flights and countless ground tests in we shouldn't still be seeing basic things like engines failing. In my very much armchair scientific opinion lol
English

Ngl losing Superheavy on the 12th test flight was really bad. I get that it's a new gen booster but still, there are other rockets with zero failures out there, and Starship Superheavy is flight-tested architecture.
HLS is not happening this decade imo

Splashdown confirmed! Congratulations to the entire SpaceX team on the twelfth flight test of Starship!

@FantasyGalaxies Nice of your neighbors to give you copies of their trail cam vids

@IrrefutableV @SpaceX Artemis wasn’t using a test rocket and starship is still being tested and developed
English

@SpaceX Meanwhile, Artemis has gone around the moon twice on two tests.
Starship hasn't even achieved orbit in 11.

@FaithfulExcuse @herasblasterr The rebellion againsty a dictator emperor who rose to power and used people to get there...are you fucking stupid?!

@RetroNerd4 @Kristinartz I watch a couple of sporting events during the winter Olympics every four years (Nordic Skiing, Curling), other than that, I find spectator sports very boring and TV is generally a waste of time.
I have enough to do in the great outdoors.

@forallcurious I’d like to know which Engineers proposed that? It would take generations just to build a 36 mile long space craft not to mention the 6000 years it would take us to travel there with our current technology and for what. We have no proof that there is a habitable planet.
English

🚨: Engineers just proposed a 36 mile long spacecraft called 'Chrysalis' that could carry 2400 people to Alpha Centauri, just 4 light-years away from us, on one way trip. The journey will take 400 years!
The passengers who board it will never see Earth again. Neither will their children. Or their grandchildren.

@lisa_talking There is always the WTA but I like watching Sinner play

@Ravenismeee You create a spice company and sell the pepper and use the profits of that to buy whatever you want
English

@doqholliday The best thing my Dad ever did for me was NOT help me financially when I was a young adult. It made me succeed on my own. Handouts create lazy and soft adults

If you're a boomer in your 60s and 70s and you own property and are well off but your children are struggling and can't even buy a home, what the hell are you doin?
Your time is over.
It's their time. Help them.
Be a good parent, do whatever it is you need to do... sell the house if you need to, give them some kickbacks to help buy their first home, etc.
Life is short. Be a good parent and don't squat on stuff that doesn't matter.
Give them their time.
