A very underrated gem, Imperialism was published by SSI in 1997. It's a classic turn-based strategy game set in the 19th century during the Industrial Revolution and the height of colonial expansion. You control one of several major powers such as Great Britain, France, Russia, or the United States, starting in 1815. The goal is global domination (how "modest"!) - achieved either through military conquest or by securing a two-thirds majority in the periodic "Council of Governors" to become world ruler. Gameplay focuses on resource management, industrial development, diplomacy, trade, exploration, and warfare, though I always felt that the build up and trade aspect was much more fun. The game's pace is very slow, which made it perfect for long weekend LAN sessions with friends. in fact, it was so slow we often had to save and continue over several weekends. Hard to believe it's now approaching 30 years old.

finished another part of the cathedral. Also added a bunch of gizmos for modifying the building. I have been doing so much procedural modeling these days, it feels like the geometry just appears as I think of it. Feels nice!

.@claudeai - Claude Cowork is giving me API rate limit exceeded errors on Opus and Sonnet, despite having Claude Max and low usage. Claude Code and Claude AI chat both work normally. I believe it's a frontend issue. How do I get help?

🚨BREAKING: Washington State passes their first ever income tax. Incomes over $1M/year will be taxed at 9.9%. Married couples share A SINGLE $1M exemption, so if combined incomes are more than $1M, you're getting taxed. This will obviously eventually extend beyond millionaires. What comes for others, will eventually come for you! RIP Washington state!

@yaghsizian @AutismCapital Is it the same small handful of people making $1mm every year, or is it various people having once in a lifetime windfalls? That increases the blast radius substantially. What is keeping that person in Washington? Or maybe the point is to chase them away?

@jackwbackes @AutismCapital fair point, Washington State is wealthier. Maybe even 0.2% making over a million, but remember if you are making 1 million you pay no additional tax. If you make 1 million and $1 you are paying 10 cents of extra tax.

@yaghsizian @AutismCapital The 2024 BLS data says 20% in Washington state. In any event, we will see how it works out for the state.

@jackwbackes @AutismCapital More like 14% of households making over $200k and if you know anything about how this works, there’s a tonnnnn of fall of between $200k and $1 million. Estimates put it at <1% have an income of over $500k so for $1 million you are probably looking at closer 0.1%

@yaghsizian @AutismCapital Nobody tracks it so who knows? 20% of households make over $200k according to the census bureau so it is likely not a small number.

you're right it's a frontend issue. github.com/anthropics/cla…. Cowork rate limits are routed separately from Code and Chat, even on the same Max account. multiple people hitting the same thing only workaround rn: shorter conversations (long context accumulates tokens that count toward ITPM even if your raw usage looks low) or just use Code/Chat until they fix the Cowork path. annoying but at least it confirms your account is fine

Ok guys serious question Is Claude cowork limited ? Because I just reach API ERROR : Rate Limit reached but didn’t find anything talking about it. On Anthropic dashboard I saw normal use not everything used yet I have max plan
