Fuck YouTube TV and Fuck ESPN. They’re both scumbags in this. Purposely trying to fuck us out of a CFB Saturday so we all download this new ESPN bullshit that’s like $30 a month. YouTube TV standing by and letting it happen. Offering a $20 credit fuck outta here. Greedy clowns.
YouTube TV@YouTubeTV

Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to reach a fair deal, and starting today, Disney programming will not be available on YouTube TV. This means you will no longer be able to watch channels like ABC and ESPN or access recordings from these networks in your Library.

NY Gov. Cuomo Admits Cov*d Restrictions Were Carried Out Illegally 'Under Color of Law' "Government had no capacity to enforce any of this [mandates]. You must wear a mask. People wore masks in New York. If they said 'I'm not wearing a mask' there was nothing I could do about it. You must close your private business. 'I won't'. There was nothing I could really do about it. " "It was really all voluntary, Cuomo claimed. "It was extraordinary when you think about it. That society acted with that uniformity voluntarily. Because I had no enforcement capacity. So you have a reduced trust in government." Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo thus effectively admits in an interview with Dr. Leana Wen that the state's coercive policies imposed during the coronav*rus emergency were illegally implemented 'under color of law.' The New York Supreme Court on numerous occasions slapped down the state's Cov*d restrictions, but in many cases, these rulings came months or even years after the policies' original implementation. State Supreme Court Justice Ralph Porzio ruled in October 2022 that New York City’s requirement for government workers to be vaccinated was “arbitrary and capricious,” and ordered the workers to be reinstated. In November 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court had temporarily barred New York from enforcing strict attendance limits on places of worship. "The restrictions at issue here, by effectively barring many from attending religious services, strike at the very heart of the First Amendment's guarantee of religious liberty," the unsigned majority decision said. "Even in a pandemic, the constitution cannot be put away and forgotten." Gov. Cuomo nonetheless accused the Supreme Court of partisanship. “You have a different court, and I think that was the statement that the court was making,” said. “We know who he appointed to the court. We know their ideology.” However, this new interview shows that former Gov. Andrew Cuomo *KNEW* that he lacked the authority to impose mask mandates, vacc*ne mandates, business closures, and lockdowns. This authority resided in the New York legislature, much like the authority to make changes to election law, so long as the laws passed did not infringe on Constitutional rights. According to the Department of Justice, Section 242 of Title 18 "makes it a crime for a person acting under color of any law to willfully deprive a person of a right or privilege protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States." For the purpose of Section 242, acts under "color of law" include acts "not only done by federal, state, or local officials within their lawful authority, but also acts done beyond the bounds of that official's lawful authority, if the acts are done while the official is purporting to or pretending to act in the performance of his/her official duties." Persons acting "under color of law" can be punished by imprisonment up to a life term or the death penalty.

The last 2 weeks were tough ones for PlayStation fans as Sony has been collecting a bunch of L's lately. . Sony struggled a lot to release an actually successful product on Steam for years before finally achieving it with Helldivers 2. This game's success is very well deserved and I said many times that it is my favorite game of this year to date. . Then they, deliberately decided to prevent a lot of players around the world from accessing their own, beloved by many people game just for the sake of having a little more PSN accounts in their database. . Ghost of Tsushima is going to be released on Steam very soon and all of this will surely impact it's sales on the platform. . Srsly I don't think I've ever seen a company sabotaging it's own game this fast.

My old boss did a lot of stupid things, like, proper mental, but the funniest was when he was on the roof of our shop, and looked like he was about to leap the 6-foot distance to one of the other buildings. I said, "Jim, there's no way you'll make that jump."

Bureaucracy is a ratchet. Whether from external or internal sources, if there are people whose job it is to insert process or oversight, this will continue to increase unless you actively audit to evaluate the impact on outcomes and work to reduce/replace

Take a look at how the number of federal regulations and policies governing research at universities has dramatically increased over the years. This adding an enormous cost of doing research. (Source COGR)
