@jacobedawson @Dimillian You shouldn't be able to use an entire week in one session in general :) There's a 5hr block first That said, if you're on plus, that sounds about right!

@Dimillian I'm only just learning myself. I will feel just fine about using them in the very next update myself. But the current update its probably a good idea to hold off.

Codex w/ GPT 5.2 is simply a better coding experience. Claude is super eager and more 'fun', provides a consistent dopamine hit & quicker feedback, but ime GPT 5.2 (codex, medium or high) is a much 'clearer thinker', especially when used with Superpowers & PLANS.md

It's interesting how much 'coding' in 2026 is now really making executive decisions and guiding architecture while providing guidance and feedback to a team (of agents) This already feels so natural I'd find it hard to go back to the old way

Codex seems semantically more powerful than Claude Code. Maybe Claude is a better overall agent, a lot more "respectful" of the files, less prone to do a mess. But GPT5.2 is more capable. I have no doubts... I wonder why Claude Code is *so much* more popular.

What are people building with @openclaw? Looks interesting but I haven't had it 'click' yet in terms of practical things I can do with it.

@michael_nielsen @karpathy i wonder if i should take a full week and just binge watch / read a lot of sci-fi, but with the updated context that i have a better idea for what 2026-2027 might look like, than whenever i last watched/read them

coding a la factorio or starcraft is cool, but what if instead it felt more like playing an instrument

Got my first desktop in a decade ahead of the upcoming GPU price rises (MSI 5090) What do folk recommend for mouse & keyboard these days? I assume all the gaming monitors are about the same?

@JackWoth98 @BenjaminDEKR Every single time I've tried to use Gemini cli *something" breaks out of the box. Claude & Codex are excellent daily drivers. I try Gemini CLI every few weeks to see if it's fixed > it is unusable. Simply not competitive (and also does not use the latest Gemini model).

Just updated to the latest version of Gemini CLI... Tried to use it: pasted multiline plain text (from web Gemini, actually) design brief into Gemini CLI. This immediately breaks Gemini, it cannot handle that there are line breaks (???) and wigs out. Totally unusable.

Entering the Age of Agency is exciting and scary. I often find myself artificially limiting my explorations in the same way a previously caged animal might stalk only as far as the boundaries that no longer exist. The answer to 'what should I do?' is always: More
