Last year the NYT reported on how SEAL Team Six stormed into North Korea, accidentally murdered a bunch of fishermen, punctured their lungs so their bodies would sink & then stormed out. Trump is now trying to force one reporter to reveal his sources: nytimes.com/2026/08/01/us/…

President Zelensky is proposing an air ceasefire, an end to strikes on energy infrastructure, a freeze of the war along the current front line, and the start of difficult negotiations with Russia. He also says he is ready for a direct meeting with Putin, according to Presidential Office adviser Mykhailo Podolyak.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Holocaust Survivor & Trauma Specialist Dr. Gabor Maté: ‘Whatever you think of the Ukraine war, you should at least be able to articulate what the other side says about it. You might not agree with that, but when you don't even know, you're not even presented with what is the other side's perspective, what is the history there that the Russians are responding to? Not to justify the invasion, but what is their perspective? What is their historical experience? If you can't even articulate that, then how can you possibly make up your mind about who's right and who's wrong or the mixed up rights and wrongs involved in a particular conflict? And when I speak with Zionists…they have no idea what the experience of the other side is. And it's failure to recognise the experience of the other side is just a commonest human failure, this happens in personal relationships where we all have our perspective and our grievance and we don't even recognise the perspective of the other side. And it's writ large in the political realm where we don't have a clue and we don't even want to. What is the other side actually saying? What is their experience? What are their concerns? And this applies big time to every conflict in the world, including the Ukraine and Russian conflict.’ —@DrGaborMate on the latest episode of Going Underground Watch the full interview in the quoted post below 👇

@hutchinson It’s actually relatively easy for normal people to just vote for the better of two candidates. It’s only the radical true believers (of whatever political persuasion) who would rather throw elections and/or watch the world burn if their preferred candidates don’t win.

Just got back from Vietnam 🇻🇳 Cost of everything 75-90% cheaper High trust society No druggies and homeless The list goes on and on Liberals supporter don’t want you to travel. You might actually learn something

But what if socialists are the better pragmatists!? A rather big country with a frighteningly successful economy led by socialist pragmatists comes to mind.

We may soon learn that Zelensky expended unsustainable levels of Ukrainian manpower in the first half of 2026 to create his "Ukraine turning the tide" PR campaign to try to win over Trump by the July NATO summit. And now the damage is coming due. x.com/AMK_Mapping_/s…
