Then Keane went after Saudi Arabia. He cited four instances of Saudi influence pulling the president back from wider military action. When the U.S. was ready to open the Strait forcibly, the Saudis denied us their airbase and airspace and actively discouraged the operation — even though they "knew nothing about the details of that operation, nor are they qualified to make that kind of an assumption." Keane's blunt assessment? They "are not willing to sacrifice" (causalities and damage to their oil reserves) "to rid the Middle East region of Iran's aggression. . . . They're willing for us to make that sacrifice for sure. They're willing for Israel to make that sacrifice for sure." I said months ago that Ukraine had decided to more quickly lose the Kramatorsk line in Donetsk banking on drone operators to hold for as long as possible. The adventures to reclaim empty fields in Dnepropetrovsk had a high cost, one the AFU could not afford. Now you will see the consequences of that decision. Kostyantynivka was first, Chasiv Yar followed, Kramatorsk is now crawling with Russian FPVs and the front in 5km away, Slavyansk just had a vital bridge destroyed and the flanks of Druzkhivka are being swarmed. And this makes no mention of the issues Ukraine is facing in Kharkov and Sumy. With the Russians finally being consistent in their targeting of previously protected Ukrainian logistics, the effects on the battlefield will become more noticeable as time passes.
