A CLASSIC in Greenville.
VCU comes back from 19 points to beat UNC 82-78. It's the largest blown/lead comeback in the first round in men's NCAAT history.
Terrence Hill Jr. with 34/5/5 off the bench. Incredible.
VCU's 11-point comeback in the final five minutes of regulation is the second largest in the history of the NCAAT, per CBS Sports research.
Carolina missed its last eight field goals in the game. Wow, wow, wow, wow.
It’s unacceptable every year the scoreboards at the top of the screen are ahead and spoil what’s about to happen.
We’re taping over all of them with black tape
@Photosbyerik@paulsen_smw Bout To Say Traditionally When/Had TNT Still Got The NBA
Shaq Still Works NBA While The Inside Crew Do March Madness
Wonder If ESPN/ABC & TNT Work Together For Shaq To Work Next Wednesday &/Or Next Saturday!!!!!!!!!
Zucker opens CBS studio. Figured that would have to be the case. I don't know that you can have Burleson take the main role when Zucker has been there all season.
@CordCuttersNews I believe you can find all the Tournament games in one place on the March Madness Live app if you authenticate with Sling and have either Blue, or Orange with Entertainment Extra. (The CBS games don’t require authentication.)
I abhor the elevation of Cesar Chavez to the status of hero, but the instant destruction of a guy whose been dead for 33 years due to allegations of sexual abuse that we know literally ZERO about, is very telling (as well as hilarious) regarding how liberals react to this stuff…
So it's 2026 and Artemis II is delayed again and cant make a trip around the moon - not land on the moon -just travel around it but in 1969 you believe that we landed on the moon and had figured out portable small tank expulsion to then take off and return home while using wireless communication technology both audio and video to navigate the return. What's next, Aaron Judge gets a clutch hit?
@JakeMarsh18 Lists like these are entirely a product of the sports you enjoy the most. I know plenty of people who don’t get into March Madness at all but every NFL Sunday is a holiday, for instance.
Top 10 Sports Days of the year, ranked:
1. March Madness Round of 64 (Thursday)
2. NFL Sunday, Week 1
3. March Madness Round of 64 (Friday)
4. Sunday at The Masters
5. The Oct/Nov loaded CFB slate
6. College Football Playoff (New Year’s Day)
7. Christmas Day (2 NFL, 5 NBA)
8. Thanksgiving (NFL Tripleheader + CBB)
9. MLB Opening Day
10. Thanksgiving Eve of Feast Week
@awfulannouncing It’s the play in game. I liked it that they felt free to drift to other topics. By the end they were very focused on the game at hand.
A hoarse Brian Anderson tries to call Texas-NC State around Dick Vitale and Charles Barkley's NCAA basketball talk. Vitale attempts to get back on track after several minutes of NIL and transfer portal discussion. "Guys, we got a game going on!"
@Variety I didn’t watch the whole ceremony but one complaint I had is about ABC’s onscreen bug. Too opaque and distracting. My eyes couldn’t help but keep going back to it. It used to be much more transparent.
#Oscars 2026 REVIEW: The crucial element missing from the evening was a more explicit salute to what #OneBattleAfterAnother, as a movie, really meant.
The film was not a piece of “resistance.” It was a piece of cathartic political art. In an evening where it took home six Oscars, that reality should have been at the forefront of the celebration of its triumph.
Instead, if you tuned into the Oscars but hadn’t seen the movie they saluted most ardently, you might never have had the slightest idea of what the movie was about.

How in the world can you compare Duke, Michigan, and Arizona’s resumes and conclude that Arizona is 3?
They all have the same record but the Wildcats won the toughest conference, they had the best noncon, and they had the toughest conference tournament path. How are they not 1?
@jacobmauney@awfulannouncing they are forcing players to play on wednesdays the one day of the week fooball should never be played on except for emergency reschedules like in covid
"I know they’re only exploring it, but can the NFL leave a holy day alone? How much football can we take? Let the NBA have Thanksgiving Eve." - Chris Russo
Just now on ESPN, @ESPNLunardi said if Miami (OH) wins the MAC Tournament, they're looking at an 8-9 seed.
If they happen to lose, they're still in, but perhaps slip a bit.
Either way, they're in. It looks like the MAC could get two bids for the first time since 1999.
