If a police officer pulls me over, and I don’t like the charges, I can have my day in court.
If I get out of my car, stick my phone in his face and cuss him out, I’ll get additional charges and probably arrested.
If I get out of my car and get in a fist fight with him, I deserve to get my ass beat.
If I choose to get in a fist fight with him and have a gun on me, I deserve to get shot if they feel threatened making split second decisions.
All this can be avoided if I simply accept, and respect, the officer’s authority a remain a law abiding citizen.
The fact this is a wild take in America today is laughable.

A federal investigation is ongoing but make no mistake - this avoidable tragedy is a result of the total failure of Minnesota’s city and state officials who have resisted federal law enforcement and created this escalation.
Federal officers are tasked with the difficult jobs of removing criminal illegal aliens from American communities. State and local politicians - and police - should be helping, not hindering, this effort.
The Department of Justice will continue to hold those breaking federal law accountable, including those who harass and violently attack law enforcement in the name of protest.

When I visited Minnesota, what the ICE agents wanted more than anything was to work with local law enforcement so that situations on the ground didn't get out of hand. The local leadership in Minnesota has so far refused to answer those requests.

— Issuing explicit death threats
— Aggressively obstructing and interfering with lawful arrests
— Attempted assaults on law enforcement personnel
— Efforts to vandalize and destroy government vehicles
— Carrying and brandishing homemade weapons
REMINDER: If you assault federal law enforcement, you will face the consequences like these agitators who were arrested.
