@jagger0622 @SourceRyan As a kid who most definitely would’ve been an iPad kid - bc I had my own desktop as a kid - you can definitely still encourage learning with screens. I legit used to write short stories on word as a kid lol 😂😂😂

Using learning through other forms of media and looking things up are critical in building literacy skills. These kids didn’t even attempt to read the word or ask for its meaning.

Wasn’t gonna say anything but some of these “kids can’t read!” convos really get out of hand. I was a READER as a kid and pretty sure the only reason I encountered gauche was because I was an only child who watched shit like TLC and Designing Women. That is not an everyday word
