@DanKingdom96 Why not 3 divisions of 6 where at the end of the season top 2 face off for championship/promotion and bottom 2 face off for relegation/wooden spoon (middle 2 can play each other for 3rd/4th)?

It should of course be noted that there has been no sudden increase in county cricket in any format in recent years. The number of county matchdays across formats has remained exactly the same since 2017 (2020 excepted), and before that there were more matchdays, not fewer. 1/6

Jamie Smith is a top player & should be competing for a batting berth in the test team. But if England are not going with Ben Foakes this summer then Ollie Robinson should be handed the gloves. Smith has barely kept in red ball for Surrey in the last few years.
