If Yu-Gi-Oh! GX is known for one thing, it's asspulls. For some reason, Jaden always seemed to have a card specifically designed for exactly ONE situation - which he would then draw IN that situation.
What are the anime's most egregious corner-case cards?

@BroBearValter @Review_bra Most Magic players exclusively play a fan-made format. Nothing is stopping you from playing one of the MANY yugioh formats that accommodate “set monster, pass” instead of Advanced

@Review_bra I miss simpler Yugioh. Now i need to wait my opponent recycle half of the deck while i sit there and wait untill its my turn to set a monster in defense mode and end my turn.

Every single yugioh card needs 3 paragraphs of restrictions and reminders of retroactively added rules or it goes infinite turn 1 and the game implodes.

exist. ptcg players, this is like if Creatures printed a card called “Anti-Dusknoir” that you could play from hand that read “if your opponent activates Curst Blast, instead you place 13 counters on one of your opponents Pokemon.” 😭

@jen_tcg I’d probably prioritize called by the grave and crossout designator over little knight, especially for radiant typhoon since you wind lock often.
Extra droplets would be nice too. Theres a bundle that includes one. Book of Moon and Forbidden Chalice are cheap alternatives

There's a decompilation for Star Fox 64 on PC by the way and it's the best version of the game by a trillion miles, you should go get it

@JestersThrall @AdriWindGB If you get medals on all stages you do unlock expect mode which is significantly harder, mostly because your wings break easily which resets your laser

I love Yugioh to death so it's always bittersweet when I'm reminded just how many people used to play this game and stopped because of the power creep and complexity. I've met countless folks over the years and this is so often their story with the game :(
