Republicans are lying to the American people when they say the SAVE Act is a voter ID law—it’s a proof-of-citizenship requirement that would make voting harder, if not impossible, for a lot of people. Passports are expensive, documents don’t always match, and the process can be a mess (been there). We should be making voting easier, not adding more hurdles. Democrats can own this by proposing their own bill that accepts a range of IDs, and includes automatic voter registration and Election Day as a national holiday for starters.

Will a picture of me with the pre-k report card count? I also have one with my Covid card obnoxiously blown up to an 8 by11. I think these facilities should be should be open 24/7 if we’re a 24/7 society now. It eliminates excuses for Americans to not have their documentation in order and timing is a real big problem with many people I know in the south. Like my bills are literally auto pay, so the conditioning that taught us good timing are slowly becoming irrelevant. I don’t even think we should have multiple time zones as a nation at least. They alter how people perceive and experience time etc etc

Currently at the DMV trying to get a REAL ID. So far I’ve provided: • Driver’s license • Passport • Social Security card • Birth certificate • Proof of address Next is my mom’s pregnancy ultrasound, a blood sample & my pre-K report card. Bonus for them if I leave crying!

My husby and I went out to dinner last night, and the bill came out to $200. I left a $50 tip on the table, thinking that was pretty reasonable.
