@jalanfoster

The world's most important document was born out of a revolution over taxes. We forget history too quickly.

@InvestWithD @MarkWarner I ask, why can't there simply be a ( stand alone ETHICS BILL) Why force it into the clarity act. Both sides of the isle need to create a " public office ethics bill" that encompass crypto, stocks, bonds , insider trading, commodities, futures , prediction markets and so forth!

@PeterSchiff @saylor Funny, I don't feel sacrificed at all. Now, if I had loaned your bank money- that was shut down because of your pathetic management- then I would feel sacrificed.

@saylor Another week of needlessly sacrificing common shareholders to protect preferred shareholders without selling Bitcoin. You must be scared that there's not enough demand for Bitcoin to absorb your sales; otherwise, there is no excuse for purposely creating a negative Bitcoin yield.

Two dogs were left completely alone in an Oklahoma apartment for nearly a week after their owners were deported - ICE picked the owner up directly from that apartment so they knew without question that those animals were inside, but no call was ever made to animal control. The apartment manager was the one who finally noticed something was wrong and made the call. By the time the animal welfare officer got there the place was destroyed - furniture chewed through, trash dug up, two terrified dogs cowering in the back bedroom trembling and barking. The officer made it clear his issue was not political - he said he would make the same call against any agency that left animals behind in that condition and that it is standard protocol to notify animal control any time an arrest leaves pets alone in a home. If you own animals and face any kind of uncertain situation there needs to be someone designated to care for them.

According to @TheOpen & @RandA’s own Player Code of Conduct: PGA TOUR’s Rory McIlroy should be penalized for public criticism of fellow competitor Bryson DeChambeau of LIV Golf. This was a clear violation of sportsmanship never seen in a major championship.

I love the way Rory blasted Bryson. Rory spoke as golf's most respected and outspoken voice and said what so many other players were thinking.

@MrHodl @saylor Buying paper Bitcoin and not securing it in a way that you have control is in essence adding leverage to Bitcoin.

Companies enable people to organize under law around a shared mission with greater efficiency, transparency, creditworthiness, scale, resilience, and continuity. For Bitcoin to succeed as a global monetary network, corporate adoption is necessary, inevitable, and welcome.

So, u just compressed 17 years of being under microscope into one paragraph… I am sure if we did this to you it would be brutal (shit pants at my bro’s wedding, arrested for solicitation, ER visit after smoking “fake Chinese synthetic trucker speed”, making out with a tranny, DUI, googling “toes” at work and getting caught, shipping farts in a can from an egirl to mother in law’s address accidentally) You get the point. None of those have anything to do with programming and being a good person at his core (no pun intended.)

@TedPillows Ready to fail …. Trump doesn’t have the wisdom or balls to sign a bill where he and his family can’t fleece the system. He is NOT good for crypto…actually he will be the reason it won’t pass. The man is literally Kryptonite - everything he touches goes to shit.

Stablecoins pose risks to consumers & to our economy. They’re propping up one of the shadiest parts of the crypto world, DeFi, where consumers are least protected from getting scammed. Our regulators need to get serious about clamping down before it is too late.

It’s over. Italian Mario Roggero, 72 years old, has been sentenced to 14 years and 9 months in prison (and to a multi-million-euro compensation payout to the robbers’ families), effectively a life sentence at his age. A hardworking, law-abiding man who worked for 49 years without a single crime on his record. Now he faces jail for killing the robbers who attacked his family. He protected his wife and daughter from three violent thugs who had beaten and terrorized them. After yet another brutal robbery, he chased them into the street with his gun, killing two and wounding the third. The shooting happened after the robbers had left the shop and were fleeing, which is why the courts rejected the claim of full legitimate self-defense.
However, Mario maintains that he feared they might return or that they had taken his wife. This is the Italian justice system, a complete disgrace and a shameful failure.
