Rest in Peace, Detective Sergeant Cody Becker, Detective Isaiah Emenheiser, and Detective Mark Baker — all of the Northern York County Regional Police Department in Pennsylvania. End of Watch: September 17, 2025. Detective Sergeant Becker, Detective Emenheiser, and Detective Baker were ambushed and killed in the line of duty this week responding to a domestic incident. The FBI sends our prayers and condolences to their families, friends, and colleagues they leave behind. They will have our full support.

Today we remember and give thanks for the service of Central Precinct Officer John Anderson, who was killed in service to our city 6 years ago (3 a.m. on 7/4/19). His police car was hit by a teen driver on Woodland St at Interstate Dr. He was a dad & a 4-year MNPD veteran.

The 12 officers & 2 sergeants who form the MNPD's new Marine Unit spent this week in certification training preparing to help keep our lakes and Cumberland River safe this summer. This is collateral duty for the 14, who will be on the waterways in extra-duty assignments.

The grief they are all feeling is unimaginable especially just days before Christmas. The cold blooded monster who murdered him is in custody.
