Yes. Not because she is a conservative candidate, but because she’s a strong, clear leader who has set out a clear plan in detail. For example, not just stating she would leave the ECHR but how she would do it. Perhaps it’s because I’m older and know of the consistent failures of Labour over the years. I just don’t trust Farage.

Today’s strong growth figures show the Government has the right economic plan. The choices I have made as Chancellor mean our economy is in a stronger position as we deal with the costs of the war in Iran. Now is not the time to put our economic stability at risk.

That is just a blatant, bare faced lie in regards to inflation! Labour inherited inflation at 2% in July 2024. It was later adjusted to 2.2% You then managed almost DOUBLE inflation to 3.8% and as of April 2026 it’s at 3.3% The inflation rate is now 50% higher than when Labour took office. STOP THE LIES!!

With this Labour Government, Britain has seen inflation come down, six interest rate cuts and borrowing fall. The PM’s steady leadership means we are better able to protect families, support businesses, work with allies and face global challenges.

Enjoyed Kemi’s quip about free breakfast clubs being a defining legacy of this Labour government. When the Tories deride breakfast clubs, it shows how out of touch they still are. A £450 saving is a lot for working families. Easing the morning rush makes a big difference.

So Polanski did indeed fail to pay council tax on his main residence. Clearly he wasn't bothered about failing to contribute to the cost of local services. It's another example of 'Rayner's Rule:' that those who are most keen on forcing the rest of us to pay lots more tax don't think they should pay much tax themselves. And when they're found out it's always 'a mistake.'

Sadly had to say goodbye to our ‘eldest’ moggy today - who I got from the man across the road back in the days when I had an iPod 😢 He was the last in the litter and my neighbour was about to take him to the RSPCA when I said: “I’ll have him.” I bought the guy a box of Stella in return. Turns out he was actually some kind of long-haired half-pedigree. In his later years he struggled to groom himself and started needing extreme £300 haircuts (see pic). He almost made it to 17 - and honestly, I thought he still had more lives in him. But today we had to make the hard decision to let him go. 😭
