It's been over 2 years since I first started playing on @sorare. Nearly 3 years since I originally signed up, but decided to give it a miss as it looked complicated to get crypto. What a mistake that was! 😢 After playing for 3 months without winning much success I listened to a podcast with @psufans2 as a guest. Something he said landed with me and I devised a strategy that would work for me. Within a month I finally won my first reward. A rare Alex Ring that at the time was a cracking card. I didn't win every week, but the rewards had started to roll. Limited cards launched a month or so later and I bought some useful cards that really helped keep the rewards coming. I finally won my first tournament in December 2021. Nearly 8 months after starting my journey. This midweek I marked an achievement I thought would be impossible for someone who didn't have the money to buy the star performers. I reached 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ football rewards. 🔥🎉 Obviously winning Mbappe 👑 in June was the crowning achievement! But, even getting to 8 wins feels amazing given how competitive #sorare is now. On top of that I've made some incredible friends, many that I've met IRL and been to watch matches I'd never have gone to in the past. The Sorare team & @ni2las has done an incredible job in the last 12 months pushing the product forward. If you're a football fan and you're not playing Sorare, you really are missing out. You can learn the ropes playing the common leagues, before buying limited's to play at multiple levels. With the real life rewards of match day experiences, signed shirts and the truly once in a lifetime traveling with your team prizes it's a no brainer to start the game. I firmly believe that if I can do it, anyone who's willing to put in the time can do it. Just learn a few new leagues, watch the odd match and most importantly have a strategy. To celebrate this achievement I've decided to give away all the limited cards I win starting from next weekend (GW389) until the end of August! 🎉💰 Although Limited tournaments are no longer my priority, I've still got enough stars to be able to get on the podiums. 🤞🤞 Hopefully the winners of the cards can use them to progress in the game themselves. They'll be a single winner each gameweek (providing I win cards! 😂), So once Europe is back there could be some decent results.
