"But I beseech You of Your kindness to have mercy on me—not the lesser mercy which You show temporarily for physical distress, but Your greater mercy which You show for the distress of the soul. Have mercy on me, and forgive me my sin. Amen."

This really is a lousy argument. Every American mainline denomination went liberal with non-establishment. So, whether it’s establishment or non-establishment, you get the same result, historically. And it happened even faster in the American context.

"This book will seek to explore the extent to which the English reformers of the Tudor period followed through on their stated purpose to have their teachings consistent with the Church Fathers concerning the doctrine of Christ's descent into hell." @frcamlin

Seems like just yesterday that "noticing" was a prerequisite for being part of the Based Right, what a total reversal of fortune.

Latest in our symposium on "Anglican Reconquista." ~ While no church is perfect, we have a responsibility to find a church in which “the pure Word of God is preached, and the Sacraments be duly administered according to Christ’s ordinance.” ~@Fr_Isaac_R northamanglican.com/why-i-chose-th…

For a while, maybe 12-15 years ago, Don Colacho’s aphorisms were staples of Reactionary twitter, but I can’t remember the last time I saw them referenced. It’s been a long time.

“It is not because there are ages that have been ‘surpassed’ that no restoration is possible, but because everything is mortal. The son does not succeed a father who has been surpassed, but a father who has died.” don-colacho.blogspot.com/2010/09/1915.h…
