Why would you ever sell anything? We are living through the fastest acceleration of technology in all of human history. The financial system is being rebuilt on crypto rails: agentic identity, robotic identity, human identity, all of it moving onchain. And yet people are still trying to time it. Selling because someone somewhere thinks the liquidity cycle might soften for a bit is bananas. You don't time a technology adoption cycle. You accumulate through it. I see many conservatives here saying they will vote for Dave Jolly if Byron Donalds is the GOP nominee. Voting for Jolly is not the solution. He says he will bring back COVID-era policies, and his running mate is a strong advocate for legalizing abortion, a line no true conservative should be willing to cross. The solution is voting for Paul Renner in the primary, a candidate who can beat Jolly, and making sure Donalds isn't our nominee.

The funniest part of this is “there’s going to be a big effort to take the shine off him.” Operatives working for the current POTUS blamed DeSantis for his sister’s death, said his wife was faking cancer for political reasons, accused him of (somehow) being a puppet of the Bush family, denigrated his military service, made up weird stories about eating pudding with his fingers, obsessed over his choice of boots, the list goes on. If they’re going to ‘take the shine off’ any further they’ll need an industrial grade sander. The sad part is the all out offensive of ‘24 really did influence people, at least enough to overshadow his record. Maybe when things get bad enough, voters will begin to prioritize results over bullshit.

New report from CNN details increasing isolation of Ron DeSantis in the GOP over his refusal to endorse frontrunner Byron Donalds: “Everybody has tried to talk sense into him, including the president. Ron is leaving without a lot of friends. There’s going to be a big effort to take the shine off of him and he won’t have a platform to defend himself." This comes as Byron Donalds made comments in recent days indicating he was looking forward to having DeSantis' support in the GE election against David Jolly.
