
I'm very unhappy with X just now. While many friends and colleagues have left X in the three-plus years since @elonmusk purchased it, I have stayed with X. I have been a premium member for many years. As a syndicated columnist, I post my work on X, which can be seen in my profile. However, X just emailed me an invoice that more than doubled my annual premium- membership cost -- from $168 to $395. Research reveals this is a higher tier called Premium-+. I did not ask to go to a higher tier and don't need it. X just stole $227 from me with zero contact. Every way it says I can inquire about this does not work -- not email ("Our customer support options have changed and this mailbox is no longer monitored"), not DM, no phone support.
