@EvieNetworks @drivecomau Nope. Did not work. Wouldn’t even allow me to acknowledge the charger in the app. I was not the only person unable to charge.

@jamesphward @drivecomau If you are an existing Evie customer that has used that charger before, the charger would have automatically recognised you as an existing customer and you could have started a charge via RFID card or via Autocharge.

More disappointment from @EvieNetworks with a charger that says all ready to roll but has no connectivity or access. Have to admit, relying on public charging in Australia is an awful experience. No wonder hybrid sales are booming. Time for an EV charging ombudsman? @drivecomau

More fake news from MSM @7NewsMelbourne uses the headline 'Motorist hit and killed by Self Driving Tesla' with red text for extra clicks. The reality is 'The man behind the wheel of the car said he was looking at his phone'. So the driver was knowingly breaking the law and Tesla's instruction to pay attention (everytime you enable AP/FSD. This happened in the US, and according to the original AP article involved a Tesla Model S from 2022. The vehicle data from the accident confirmed FSD was enabled. It doesn't say anything of the rest of the vehicle data like time since torque on the wheel or driver monitoring determined they were watching the road. Ultimately it was determined (either driver admitted or interior camera showed) the driver was responsible for the vehicle. Get off your phones, watch the road or you may kill someone. This is what the headline should reflect. Whoever the editor of @7NewsMelbourne should face serious questions for spreading missinformation. Take the clicks and leave your credibility at the door. A Cybertruck has been spotted in Sydney for the first time, as Tesla issues a recall on all the vehicles over an accelerator problem. But with each one costing at least $125,000, are they worth it?
