@p1investment had a record month in October, with £110m of new asset inflows, hitting £1.25bn of assets. Thanks to the advisers that we work with, and of course to the @p1investment team. 2023 is going to be an exciting year with a raft of new launches in the pipeline.

@jamespriday_JP @JimDuffy_ @JayW132 @BitcoinConfUK A typical user’s “wallet” (like a Ledger or a BitBox) will show a BTC balance, but under the hood that balance is the sum of any number of UTXOs, each with their own address. You’re counting the UXTO addresses and their amounts, not the user’s wallet balances.

@brixjorgn @JimDuffy_ @JayW132 @BitcoinConfUK Well… the number of addresses with a balance of bitcoin, yes. For example there are currently 21.47m unique address with 0.001 BTC or more. 18.82m 1-year ago. That is part of the network growth story

@jamespriday_JP @JimDuffy_ @JayW132 @BitcoinConfUK With each new transaction, there’s a new wallet address. There’s probably a negligible number of reused addresses. So this is showing that the network continues to be used, not so much that it’s growing.

@JayW132 Apple: the reason- global adoption would be inevitable. A familiar hardware and software interface for access and use is important. However, there’s clearly drawbacks to such a large and influential company being involved too early
