A year ago, @Sulliview wrote "it is our job to make sure" Biden's age was NOT "front and center for US citizens...." In retrospect, Margaret, it sounds like you were calling on our colleagues in the press to cover up the President's debility. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Last year, Bill Nye the Science Guy said the best way to stop hurricanes was to vote for Kamala Harris. This year, the United States marked its first hurricane-free September in a decade. Moral of the story? Stop listening to climate alarmists.

President Trump has dispatched federal troops to what he calls "war-ravaged Portland." Portland has its problems but it is not the "hell" Trump claims; it remains a food-and-wine heaven. "Hell" does not serve Pinot Noir this good. I suspect Trump is sending troops mainly to see if he can provoke violence to distract from his messes (Epstein files, corruption, tariffs, economic softening) and justify his authoritarian rule.

Jimmy Kimmel and other late-night comedians have certainly said things about me that I found offensive, even outrageous. It never crossed my mind to call up the networks and say, "Hey, get rid of this guy." Because that's not how America works. The causal analysis in this article is so weak. As far as I can tell this is the paragraph that most clearly lays it out? Was it the way media portrayed the right that brought us Trump or something more fundamental? I think probably the latter.
