So I’m seeing hype of Xbox pushing disc to digital program as a clap back to use against Sony.
Umm you do realize if the program is true, it’s because they are also getting rid of physical disc. They want to you to trade a physical license for a digital one.

Shareholders have a say, Nutella has a say, the business needs also have a say.
For ES6, FO, etc. that is quite the uphill battle as opposed to keeping smaller titles console exclusive.

Jarome Luai has been granted permission by the Wests Tigers to negotiate an early release and speak with rival clubs. The Tigers are prepared to let Luai leave at the end of 2026, despite him having a year remaining on his contract, as the club looks to create salary cap space to retain its young core, including the Fainu brothers. He will need to take a Jonah Pezet style pit stop somewhere.
