Confused as to how from an attacking perspective Saka can be rated higher than Bowen. He plays for a significantly better team & has both less goals & assists (& Bowen has to do far more in defence). Foden’s getting slated & even her has more goals/assists than Saka this season.

@AzamWHUFC I agree there’s no logic to starting Foden up top at all, it achieves nothing. But realistically across the 2 matches, how many of the players that actually played will get into the starting 11 at any point? There’s no point playing matches to test out completely random lineups.

@jamiebennett92 That’s a fair point but even still you can’t even see what the side are still trying to do. Take a couple of players out and we look lost. A manager of his quality should be proactive with plans than trying to just shoehorn players into roles that don’t suit them.

It feels a lot of these England camps under Tuchel have been messy. We qualified with ease and rightly so but it all feels disjointed and careless. At least with Southgate we knew what we were going to get with Tuchel it is too unpredictable.
