Last night, four of our Year Five pupils stood in for our Year Six team at the Y6 Bishop Rawstorne Mathematics challenge. After several tasks, their courage and impeccable teamwork earned them second place! What an incredible feat from our mathematicians. Well done!

Another fantastic piece of leaf art by Isla H (Y2). She has tried to replicate a swan with a few added extras. Isla has been keeping a close eye on some nearby cygnets that were born only a few weeks ago.

Children in Y2 have enjoyed creating Plop from the Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Thomlinson. It's very simple and easy and it only requires basic household objects. Thanks Mrs Felstead for showing us!

What a great afternoon in #Year2! Leyland Fire Service came in to discuss fire safety. Children were given the opportunity to dress up as firefighters, role play a house fire and wave goodbye to the fire engine 👋. Thanks @LancashireFRS Mr H
