@P_McCulloughMD Except it's effecting people differently. Brother and me both got it...had to cancel flight. Brother is in hospital hooked to ecmo fighting for his life. One of his lungs collapsed. Me...nothing...and I was vaccinated...he was not. This shit will blindside everyone.

Many are saying Omicron is like a mild cold, so are finding it hard to get motivated for testing or waste more energy on what is the common cold. Shorter quarantine times are making it NBD for many young persons. Double or triple J now irrelevant.

@P_McCulloughMD Correct. My family and I had Covid A in June and we all felt very unwell with proper flu symptoms and laid up in bed for 4 days. We've all just had Omicron and all just had a blocked nose for 2 days. 3rd vax for all people over 18 regardless of health or previous covid is crazy.

@IngrahamAngle True story, my family had a wedding last Saturday night. Many now are suffering from Covid including 4 in my own home. We are not terribly sick but we are all taking Ivermectin. This is our first time getting it. More contagious now I think. 🤷♀️

@loukaywoo @claringtontruth Don't be too hasty. Those vaccinated are still a lower ratio than the unvaccinated: a lot lower. More importantly, they are not the ones in ICU or being hospitalised for severe illness.

@loukaywoo @kovich_canada You need to look at deaths, not cases. Yes, vaccinated people are getting sick, but they're not very sick; often not symptomatic.
Here in Alberta almost all the deaths and ICU patients are unvaccinated.

The staff at my hospital who chose to do weekly testing rather than get vaccinated, but then were forced to get vaccinated, are really enjoying learning that now we will also have to do weekly testing and wear N95s for all patient contact regardless of diagnosis or vax status.

@Morvern_C_ My kids are both jabbed. All good. We live in Spain. If they aren’t double jabbed we can’t go for meals, bowling. Cinema etc. is that acceptable as well. Just keep them locked up cos one kid in about 10 million died (who had lots of health issues already)
