@DavidGHFrost In 2009 I had to call 999 for my 7 yr old son who was having a siezure (only time evet called 999). 4 minutes an ambulance crew arrived, 1 minute after that a paramedic arrived. He received 1st rate care. I've never forgotten that experience. That's how things used to be!

The NHS will never work as well as European systems. So let's establish a Royal Commission to explore how to change it to a European-style social insurance system over a generation. Meanwhile, stop adding new burdens to it. telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/06/2…

On this curious day of "celebration" of our mediocre national health system, here is what I wrote on the subject in @Telegraph last autumn: /

@DavidGHFrost Average annual increase in NHS spending in real terms since 1948 is 3.7%. Apart from mid 80's to early 90's when it was 2.5% (Thatcher & Major) = long waiting times; 2000's when it was 6.9% (Blair) = short waiting times and 2010 to 2019 1.4% (Cameron + others) = complete mess

@CartlandDavid @doctor_oxford As the husband of a vaccine injured wife that the NHS won't dare admit vaccine injury let alone know how to treat her. It is Drs like David Cartland who have been prepared to speak out which have provided us with comfort that we are not on our own. Utter scandal!

The hypocrites here piling on calling me names and reporting me for a 💩 emoji. Snitches everywhere. Have some balls and debate me and send me counter data. Don’t ignore me like your colleague did. 3500 citations to be exact.

@caz_sampson Varies greatly based on age and sex. Young and adolecsent males are the most at risk group. bmj.com/company/newsro… Vaccine injury scheme used to employ just 4 people to process claims from adverse reactions to all vaccines combined - they now employ 80 people - and can't cope.

@DavidGHFrost @OECD To match a European healthcare system you first have to match the number of beds, doctors and nurses per capita to that in Western European countries. Your government have reduced these levels per capita

That's why I advocate a European system, not a US one. In fact, though, we spend about 2/3 as much as the US as a share of GDP (per @OECD). It's also true of course that the US, not having subjected itself to a high tax high spend economy, has a lot more GDP to spend on it too.
Chris Rennard 🔶💙🇺🇦@LordRennard

@DavidGHFrost @KateAndrs @spectator We spend about half as much our GDP on healthcare as the USA. Hardly anyone here wants to move to a US system with great coverage if you are employed in a very high earning job, but poor coverage, if any, for most people and very poor health outcomes👇👇cbo.gov/sites/default/….

@DavidGHFrost @KateAndrs @spectator In 2009 (after a decade of proper nhs funding) for the first time in my life I called 999, my 7 yr old son had suddenly become unresponsive. 4 minutes later an ambulance arrived, 1 minute later a paramedic arrived. He received 1st rate care. This was how things used to be!

@angelavarndall @lensiseethrough Spot on! But unless you're vaccine injured or live with someone who is, then most people are unaware of a lot of this stuff. I only became fully aware of what was going on after trying to get support for my vaccine injured wife. Absolute scandal which will be airbrushed over!

Molly, I’d like the COVID enquiry to question the coercion, bullying and cancelling surrounding the vaccines. The mind games used surrounding lockdowns. The vaccine injured being ignored and the MHRA not fit for purpose dealing with the yellow card injuries. @lensiseethrough @TalkTV @debi @julesserkin @BareReality @TiceRichard

BBC rubbing a story this morning that TikTok has agreed to close 65 accounts highlighted by bbcverify for denying that climate change was man made. The control of thought and censorship thereafter is ramping up. If people can’t discuss things: dictators rule.

@NetZeroWatch The EU has been happy to keep developing countries as developing countries by allowing imports of raw materials and food (which isn't grown in EU at that time of year) but add large import tariffs on manufactured goods - thus preventing them from becoming developed countries

The EU is divided on how to help poorer nations fight a growing food crisis and address shortages of fertilisers, with some fearing a plan to invest in plants in Africa would clash with EU green goals. The EU's green officials are wicked. #CostOfNetZero 👉reuters.com/world/europe/e…

@Nigel_Farage I disagree with a number of your political stances, but in a democracy I am 100% behind your right to say what you believe in. This is an absolute disgrace. I want to hear all sides of an argument, not live in a "one-party", "one view can only be correct" state. Please fight this

The establishment are trying to force me out of the UK by closing my bank accounts. I have been given no explanation or recourse as to why this is happening to me. This is serious political persecution at the very highest level of our system. If they can do it to me, they can do it to you too.

@The_East_End I remember my Dad telling me how as a child in the 1940's he grew up in a two-up, one-down (i.e. one room downstairs) back to back slum with an outside toilet shared with three other families. Six of them lived in that house. That's just one generation back, not Victorian times!

@TonyHinton2016 We knew it was happening - UK government monitoring 'wrong think' of it's own citizens and conspiring with tech companies and the BBC to shut down debate - I wonder why the government don't want to handover their whatsapp messages to the enquiry 🤔

Ministers’ had ‘chilling’ secret unit to curb lockdown dissent. How is this any different to what China does? Do we want this going on in the UK? I was a target. telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/06/0…
