My 16 year old son has put an advert out offering his gardening services at £12 per hour. His time and his terms. He’s had abuse from Facebook users with laughing emojis and comments about how disgusting it is that he’s asking for £12 per hour. What a cess pit of a country!

On the same program last week, Dr Amir Khan brilliantly explained (in just over a minute!) how using the private sector undermines the NHS and hastens its demise.

The Conservatives say they can’t afford the Pension Triple lock because it is too expensive. The UK has the lowest State pension in Europe, the oldest retirement age in the world and is the 6th richest nation in the world. You would have to be damn stupid to believe that lie.

Scare story about the increasing and unaffordable cost of the state pension in The Times is amplified on #r4today but no mention of the surely significant fact that it's one of the lowest state pensions of any developed country.
