As the person responsible for our deportation plan I want ensure people know where we stand:
If a foreign national lives in social housing at taxpayer expense, they automatically fail our economic test and will be deported.

As a journalist I think it’s extraordinary Julia Gillard was able to do a Hay event without facing a question about the negative impact of her legislative changes on women’s rights in Australia, given what a story this has been recently. Not for lack of audience trying it seems.
