Darryn Peterson is the most talented and skilled prospect over the last 5-10 years to be doubted and questioned to this degree. I’m curious to see if he plans to come out tonight to shut up some of his doubters. I’ll be tuned in.

Peterson is a 30 a game scorer in the league. He’s doing this in college with horrendous spacing. It’s easy to see how his game will translate and level up with NBA spacing IMO.

@jansjay no he can't because he wouldn't be allowed to throw up that many shots.. averaging 30 is a hollow counting stat that most shouldn't even try because it wouldn't help winning..

@rochaser1967 They’re definitely not. You think Bub could score 30 a game?? He already plays more mins than most as is and he can barely crack double digits. It’s a skill to get quality shots consistently.

Darryn Peterson dropped a dominant 28 points on 11/18 last night following a shaky 0/6 start (11/24 total). Looked like a #1 pick with these shots off the dribble. It looks so effortless. Bigger test on Sunday: Kansas vs St. John’s 11th ranked defense.

Kansas gets it done despite inexplicably freezing out Peterson down the stretch. At. John’s will be a much stiffer test. Peterson will need to be as aggressive as he was to start this game.

Darryn Peterson's 7 points in the final minute. He is still not all the way 100%, but this shot making is unreal

Despite the poor shooting I thought that was an excellent half for Peterson. He was active defensively w/ deflections and offensively got to his spots w/ ease. Just a couple looks he normally knocked down rimmed out.
