@mitsuhiko Split it - that’s what we do at least. Though the last batch wasn’t split because he shirked the collecting/returning part - guess who’s doing a better job now.

Because the deposit on cans and bottle is 25ct my kids are now in the business of convincing me to give the deposit to them if they collect and return it. I’m at a pickle here of how to best approach this.

@jarshwah it's not just you guys I have a few on the go I've assigned these myself as well I think the intention of giving a time period is to try and stop people from spending 12 hours on a coding assessment that's supposed to take two hours

@mattdsegal Assuming this is about us - and that's precisely why it's a "take home" and not a "do it infront of us". Take as long as you want :D

@zeeg @mitsuhiko They got the money because of the hype generated by OSS ruff. People acting like they were funded out of no where. Smacks of jealousy. Tooting the horn for OSS funding for years and then upset it wasn’t their pet project? Sigh.

@mitsuhiko Yeah I agree. They can go fundraise if they want. People act like money is why ruff or uv are great. I love pdm, but that thread is nonsensical.

I'm fairly certain that even with limited Rust experience you will find uv's code easier to understand (and modify) than pip or poetry's. @mitsuhiko/113103859285230299" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">elk.zone/hachyderm.io/@…

the guy who tried to kidnap (likely with intent to kill, based on the weapons he brought) me at my house is now out of jail. The FBI had found information for other sex workers in his house, but never told me who. If you're a sex worker, be careful! Get security cameras!

demon's souls defender here. stop telling people to not start with demon's souls. demon's souls is a great place to start because it is where everyone had to start. people may appreciate the changes that come later, but it makes sense to start from the one that started it all

I've never beaten a Souls game before (or owned one for that matter), so I want to change that. I've decided to jump down the FromSoftware rabbit hole.

@storyofharambe @SamCKx @rod_mallo People also expect to be able to use break areas for things like lunch, coffees, having a chat. When others sit at those break spaces for 8 hours it ruins other people’s paid-for-services.

I often get questions about how to build a wardrobe around a certain body type, skin tone, or budget, but again, everything starts with your desired aesthetic. You can't approach things from the other side, or else you'll wind up with clothes you don't love.

@hasumpstuffedup @VeteranDave In the dogs pies game tonight they seem to be ignoring the capacity to dispose. So many paid where they couldn’t possible even attempt to get rid of it.

@VeteranDave Prior opportunity still exists - the change is that if you are tackled with prior you must attempt to dispose IMMEDIATELY (successfully or not doesn't matter)

@hasumpstuffedup Hi. Just to clarify, has prior opportunity gone as a factor? Some Twitter highlights from last night appeared to show players tackled immediately trying to get rid of the ball which were called HTB. How do you see it? Thanks.

@LenginoVincenz @CollingwoodRant Incorrect disposal can only be paid if the player *elects* to incorrectly dispose. If they make a genuine attempt OR the ball is knocked out during the tackle (no prior) it is play on.
