Can all be resolved if Amorim shows a little more flexibility. Go 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 occasionally. Use Mainoo more often off the bench. But the situation is hopeless if we continue with this line that he's competing with Bruno for a starting place.

@DavidEllis8441 Finding 2 players with energy, where atleast 1 is a defensive specialist would give us a nice combination. Our struggles have been off the ball rather than on it, so that should be the focus imo.

@jasaw83 The issue here is considering Mainoo way too much in this decision. United need to buy 2 MFs, who do everything they need in MF. If Mainoo can't fit in with that, then the issue is surely Mainoo. There isn't a MF anywhere who can single handedly cover all of Mainoo's deficiencies

@DavidEllis8441 As much as you dont like it, hes gonna play loads of games next year. Hopefully we have 60 matches, and he'll prob start atleast 30 of them. So that means he needs to be considered. Looking at this season, him and a 34yr old Cass have done pretty well, so thats the blueprint.

It’s pretty straightforward. There were programmes about Boris Johnson and his problems when he was prime minister. There wasn’t time to make any programmes about Liz Truss when she was prime minister. And Keir Starmer is the prime minister now. Whether you like it or not Keir Starmer is historically unpopular. The programme is not a hit job. It’s asking why his premiership has been so rocky, despite his majority. It looks at his failings, of course, but also the wider structural problems afflicting all of our recent prime ministers and asks if there are system things about politics which ought to change. These are all entirely legitimate lines of journalistic enquiry.

@PolaBear2637 @RichRedVoices @jonmufc44 Its too late for Starmer now anyway. He's so bound up with McSweeneyism, that theres no trust anymore. Needs a reset with someone genuinely leftwing, or the Greens are gonna decimate their progressive vote.
