1 of my largest competitors in the Home Improvements sector of SE QLD just collapsed. I’ve been going head to head with Altek for 20 years. They are a 50 year old entity. Queensland is meant to be a booming market though? I’ll never dance on the grave of a competitor failing, it’s a very tough industry to be profitable in. Competition is healthy and it pushes us all to be better. I do know this - legacy structures are collapsing rapidly - from construction to media and then to politics.
