Okay, can we do 50/50 at least? If more than half the ball is in the zone, it is a strike, if not, it is a ball.
Because this is dumb. Sorry if that hurts you.

This is the closest overturned call we've seen so far. An ⅛ of a millimeter farther outside and it's a ball.

@BertJohnso21094 @827js I couldn’t agree more, let that father be with his daughters
English

@827js The dad shouldn't kill him. Hopefully someone else will and won't be known to authorities. Vigilantism is alive and well now. And it's necessary.

🚨 BREAKING: President Trump announces the admin is going HARD after whoever LEAKED the fact only ONE airman was saved
"When they did that, all of a sudden, the entire country of Iran, knew that there was a pilot that was somewhere on land that was FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE.
"It became a MUCH more difficult operation. Because a leaker leaked that we have one. We've rescued one. But there's another one out there that we're trying to get."
"We HAVE to find the leaker. We're GOING to find out. It's national security. And the person who did the story will go to JAIL if he doesn't say."
"They put that mission at GREAT RISK, and they put at risk the hundreds of people that went in looking for him, because EVERYONE now knows that we're going in."
English

@noahgittell If we are going to use the system then let the system call every pitch and not just ones that are challenged
English

It is fucking hilarious that the point of ABS was to be sure when a strike is a strike, and now people are like “hear me out, what if a strike is not a strike?”
Bad Sports Refs@BadSportsRefs
You make the call: should pitches that are 99.9%+ out of the zone like this be a strike?

JUST IN: The Wizards have issued an apology after they appeared to have pranked a fan into thinking he won $10,000 by pretending he made a blindfolded half-court shot.
The Wizards say the skit was scripted and all participants were in on the joke.
"We apologize for last night's April Fools' joke that left many wondering if we had misled a fan. The skit involving our mascot and other members of our performance team was scripted and intended to celebrate the day," they said.
"All participants were in on the joke, but we missed the mark. Our fans are our priority, and we continue to be committed to providing a positive experience to all who attend our games."
