Yes! No native token. Pay fees in any stablecoin.
*in @danrobinson voice* There's actually two AMMs.
The FeeAMM here is a constant price AMM for converting fees from any user-specified token to the current validator's preferred token.
StableDEX is separate!

@awkweb @gakonst oh i was wrong to say the alphaUSD is the "native" token. there is no native token. validators define a token they want to receive funds in, and the enshrined dex converts the TIP-20 token being transferred into the validator desired token on send

btw we shipped our own blazing-fast block explorer for tempo and open sourced it
built on cloudflare workers and index supply, costs few dollars / month to maintain given an RPC

this is a great viz for the complimentary matching you can do with binary outcome orderbooks - you can do a lot more with the liquidity than facilitating only 1:1 swaps, but its hard to understand that until you break it out into account deltas

@danyalprout not sure i follow - like an event that tells you when a new flashblock index is "pending", sort of like eth_subscribe newHeads ? if so that would work well i think. for indexing purposes there are times where exposing the underlying fb index would still be useful

@danyalprout specifically flashblocks aware with the pending tag - alchemy didnt support at time of writing but apparently does now (tho docs here #flashblocks-enabled-api-endpoints" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">alchemy.com/docs/reference… are still stale), afaict quicknode doesn't support (#supported-rpc-methods" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">quicknode.com/docs/base/flas…), cant tell if infura supports or not (no doc)

We support pending eth_getLogs on some of our public endpoints:

sepolia-preconf.base.org
Which node providers don't support the pending tag?

@worm_emoji fwiw for indexing, we ended up parsing the node fb socket directly + alchemy rep told me that eth_getLogs is now supported (docs are stale i guess)!
adding support to shovel / rindexer next would be sick tho. i think lack of indices + nonzero reorg chance makes it tricky atm

- no great way to do indexing, no public rpc provider supports fb-aware pending eth_getLogs afaict - fb-aware sendRawTransactionSync is sick but AA infra is (so far) incompatible, e.g. 4337 bundlers - apps will prob need more fb details over rpc, e.g. fb indices + new fb sub
