Thank you! Last year TGL was hard for me! I was struggling with panic disorder & couldn’t do an interview without feeling dizzy/overheated/my ears getting blocked. My goal when getting help for it was to be calm on camera one day. This season was SO fun and panic wasn’t a problem
Kate@kayteekay1221

@kclairerogers has always been one of my favorite follows on here and seeing her do so well, cover @TGL, and all the golf interaction. I feel like a proud mom

Before today tips off: Over at Substack, I wrote about what it's like to cover an Olympic Games in 2026, including the chaos after big medal-winning moments and the best story I overheard in the tunnels beneath the arena. (Link follows.)

@michaelgervais This 'formula' really brought my life and work into focus a few years ago. As you said, it's made decisions so much easier! And life & work much more meaningful. Im so grateful for you sharing it!

The three legs of purpose. 1. It has to personally matter to you. This has personal meaning to you. Nobody can give you your purpose. 2. It has to be bigger than you. It’s not about you and just you being at the center of your world. 3. It has to be out in front of you, something to work towards. Those are the three legs of purpose. And when you get that dialed in, the rest seems pretty easy. What are your three legs?

Ilia Malinin was crowned the biggest star of the Olympics before even stepping on the ice. And yesterday, after two falls, he admitted he “blew it” on the biggest stage during a free skate he was expected to dominate. Though the stakes may be different, when we step into the arena, push our limits, and explore our potential with courage and guts, we will all experience failure. Failure sucks. It is also inevitable. Keep going. Plenty has been written on failing well and failing forward, but I think the above three sentences do more than 99 percent of the work. Sure, we can grow and learn from failure, but there’s no secret recipe. As you come back from failure, you integrate its lessons into your identity. However, if you are going to experience growth and meaning, these attributes come on their own schedule. The bigger and more challenging the failure, the longer it takes for you to feel good again. What doesn’t kill you usually makes you stronger, but it takes time. I can sit here and write that you ought to expect failure, that any long-term path of excellence includes it, and that nobody achieves greatness without failing along the way. All of that is true. But in the moment, failure hurts. There’s not much more to it, and that’s okay. There are many theories on resilience, but it really comes down to a few core components: Leaning into community; allowing yourself to feel sadness and loss while working to maintain hope at the same time; being kind to yourself, patient, and persistent; establishing small routines that support your mental health; and committing to showing up and returning to the work as you trudge through the mess. The things you care about break your heart. You’ve got to trust the love of the pursuit is big enough to hold the hurt of failure.

@vanschneider Its a book that doesn't need to be read front to back one page after another. One of the many reasons I love it. Pick it up, open it to a short passage or 'chapter' then put the book down & let the passage simmer

We just sent out our first newsletter on @kit and literally no one received it. It say all 917 e-mails were sent. Customer support seems to be only AI and not helpful. Anyone else have experience - good or bad - with @KIT? Would love to know. TIA!

@minnowpark Yup 😆 This is ur year 2 stop dabbling & start owning. Own ur message & audience. Own ur expertise. Everything u want is on the other side of clarity, action & consistency. Will u commit 2 actually doing the work this year? Bc if u do u won’t recognize ur biz or urself by Dec

i was on a call today and they said they recently asked GPT: "with everything you know about me, what should i focus on this year?" the specific prompt i asked was: "tell me what i should be focusing on this year in terms of my work. be raw and direct about it as if you are giving me the real talk and something i need to hear. i want to lock in. don't hold back" it gave me a whole thing. like an 8 part answer then I asked it for the tweet sized version: "Stop overthinking. Stop waiting. This is the year to bet on yourself—loudly, boldly, unapologetically. Write. Create. Coach. Share. Stop playing small or diluting your voice. You are the work. Trust God’s timing, take the damn risk, and let grace catch you in the act. Go." damn. ok.
Minnow Park@minnowpark

i spent a half hour this morning, asking chat GPT to write custom instructions for itself based on all the chats we are having. the questions in the dialog box are: 1. what do you do? 2. what traits should ChatGPT have? 3. anything else ChatGPT should know about you?

@ThatChristinaG Big CF fan here 👋 The game was pretty good! The ads for it were awful as in completely boring And my fellow SEC fans would say an SEC team would've brought more viewers 🤔

Illness really is a portal to greater understanding of what actually matters. Not dissimilar to the luteal phase. We maintain what we must, we let go of the rest. I am generally in need of this kind of humbling but never actually enjoy it. More like a grudging appreciation.
