I don’t think Burnham is perfect but like he is objectively the best placed politician to contend with Reform at the next GE and as someone who’s main desire is not wanting them anywhere near government I want him to win that by election.

It was John Prescott who described Andy Burnham best. He said Andy had “the human touch”. He is genuinely relaxed and at his happiest when he is the company of ordinary people. Politics needs the human touch back more than ever.

You may not like Burnham. But if he doesnt win and we don't have a leadership contest this year, the party is finished for 2029.

The fact that Burnham is the only Labour politician with a positive net popularity rating right now, while the actual Prime Minister is sitting at -46, tells you everything you need to know about why Westminster is sweating bullets about this by-election. If successful, this could destroy Reform and prevent a Farage government

I am not a huge Burnham fan, but the criticism that he held different views 15+ years ago and therefore cannot be trusted is a bit strange coming from Green Party members, considering Zack Polanski was a pro-austerity Lib Dem Zionist 15 years ago.

🚨 An urgent plea to Green members... 👇👇 Don't fall for Burnham's last-minute pledges. We've been here before with Starmer. He is not the answer. We must seek Labour's destruction, not its friendship.

During 2018-19, Zack Polanski was a Lib Dem who told all of us that the austerity coalition govt was incredible. Is he about to do a Keir Starmer and pretend to be Jeremy Corbyn to get elected?

During the 2015 Labour leadership election, Andy Burnham disagreed with Jeremy Corbyn on renationalisation — he only wanted to bring the railways back into public ownership. Is he about to do a Keir Starmer and pretend to be Jeremy Corbyn to get elected?

Not the result we wanted. But thanks to everyone who came up to speak to me today. Appreciate all the advice and agree with the main consensus: “Get new running shorts.” The one bit that sticks most in my mind? “You need to be clearer that Labour left us. We didn’t leave Labour.” I agree. From here on, I will say it more clearly: mine is a campaign to change Labour back to the party people used to know. A party solidly on the side of working class people. Make no mistake about that. Despite what happened on the pitch, Everton FC once again excelled off it. It gave me hope that, despite everything, we can re-build more unity in our country. 🙌🏻 #bradleylowery @Bradleysfight

Ultimately, there is no amount of facts, logic, rebuttals, statistics, or graphs that can truly counteract a paid agitator snorting a line of coke backstage before lying to a crowd of people who want to be lied to so very much.
Gadget@Gadget440

🚨 Tommy Robinson takes the mic and gives an unhinged speech at the "Unite the Kingdom rally" and says that 66% of the murders in the US last year were committed by illegal immigrants. This is completely fabricated. No US crime database shows illegal immigrants committing anywhere near 66% of murders. He uses this made-up statistic to declare that the UK need "their own ICE."

A truly horrible day for Scottish football. A sad title race in the end. Hearts have been robbed and the establishment have been gifted the title. You cannot defend the integrity of the league anymore. If you’re truly a Scotland fan you cannot celebrate or defend this.

Refuse to watch Scottish football because the league system is so dumb. Hearts won the league fair and square weeks ago but let’s tack on some Yank bullshit at the end. Crap 👍

Have I just witnessed a game where the referee doesn’t blow for full time and the fans in the stand invade the pitch and the result is just given to them?

It feels like this could genuinely be the most important parliamentary by-election in the last 50 years - looking forward to seeing everyone out in Makerfield!

@ABitOfEverthing Is it not because he’s now killed the last people involved in his family’s murder. So he’s now got no purpose and being drawn closer and closer to suicide/suicidal thoughts, but then after the things he’s done he knows even his family wouldn’t accept him in death

One question I hear asked a lot is why is Frank in such a bad headspace in the One Last Kill special. A great theory is that the void incident messed him up because his shame room was probably pretty brutal. So that would have definitely regressed him to a more raw state.
