@ConnStevenson91 @LukAS_Olajide Hope so I've seen different stuff but nothing to say what's the actual problem. Feel like we need another defender unless Arteta feels that he can rely on Salmon should we have an injury crisis.

Konsa isn't a bad player. He's one of the Premier League's most reliable defenders and his versatility is a genuine asset. The issue is value. If the fee is around £64m for a 28-year-old, Arsenal would be paying a premium for a player who isn't guaranteed to start once Saliba is back alongside Gabriel. That kind of money could go towards a younger centre-back with a higher ceiling or be used to strengthen areas where Arsenal need upgrades more. Unless Arteta sees Konsa as an undisputed long-term starter rather than quality depth, it's difficult to justify that price. What would you do: pay £64m for Konsa or invest it elsewhere?👇

Arsenal have stepped up their transfer business with a reported £64.1M offer for England international Ezri Konsa. 🦁✈️ How would you feel about Konsa in an Arsenal shirt next season #Arsenal #EzriKonsa

🚨 Manchester United are investigating whether a deal for Myles Lewis-Skelly is possible & are aiming to see whether Arsenal would do business, given Arsenal plan to spend big over the next few weeks. Arsenal prefer to keep Lewis-Skelly, but there is a sense the situation could change if they complete an expected deal for Bruno Guimarães & another for Vinicius Junior. The changed dynamic could mean him having to re-assess his future. 🤔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 [@MiguelDelaney]

@ItsAuraFC Actually agree with not signing another defender considering the size of the squad. Nwaneri would have to leave aswell (tbh wouldn't mind another loan), or just sell Noni as I said earlier.

Arsenal’s potential midfield options ahead of the 2026/27 season. Is this midfield depth good enough to win the Gunners back-to-back league titles for the first time in 90 years next season? Or even a first Champions League trophy?👀

@xDaveAFC We would be almost impossible to play against. You would have Vini one side and Saka on the other, you can't double up on both of them. Teams will have to play wider against us which creates space for Gyokeres. If we do end up getting Vini I think Viktor will benefit from it.

Here's a question then: Let's say Arsenal sign Vini Jr... Does he hit the ground running in the Premier League or do you think he would need a few games to get going? We've all seen him destroy PL teams in the UCL, but what about against low blocks every weekend? #AFC

@iamAtog @HandofArsenal It's already been spoken about by other reporters, Vini won't want as much from us weekly because he will get 100% of his image rights not 50% He sees them as something that can potentially get him more money than an actual weekly wage.

@HandofArsenal To sign Vini means you're ready to pay 200m transfer fee, and then pay him 600k weekly wages. I'll love to see Arsenal try it cause this spells doom for them financially. They're going to go bankrupt almost immediately. But we all know they can't. It's an impossible signing.

Vini - Arsenal - Arsenal HAVE spoken to the camp of Vinicius Jnr, obtained all the necessary financial requirements and THEN approved it at all levels internally. - Vini Jnr’s camp is well aware IF his contract talks fail - The English Champions are ready financially to put in a serious offer. - Vinícius Júnior trusted circle has proactively explored potential future destinations for the winger, engaging leading sports analytics firms and data-driven football experts to simulate how he would fit into various top-tier tactical systems. According to well places sources, Arsenal features prominently in those projections as a highly compatible destination. - Arsenal continue to work on other targets like Julian Alvarez & others Vini - Madrid - A year of stalled and unsuccessful contract talks - The financial gap between the demand of both camps is a 7 digit multi million figure. - Roc Nation feel he is not seen as an untouchable asset current and the salary / contract being offered reflects that. - Real Madrid are not willing to blank cheque Vini, they have a limit and wont break it for anyone. - Talks between the camps are set to resume in the coming days when the player returns to ascertain if this financial gap can be closed. - The blame for the talks taking so long is being passed back and forth between the two parties. - Madrid do not want him to leave on a free next summer. Arsenal are ready to enter and Roc Nation will keep us informed.

I just saw the David Ornstein report about Arsenal exploring a deal for Vinícius Júnior, and I have to admit, it got me thinking. To be honest, if Arsenal refusing to bid £80m+ for Morgan Rogers somehow leads to us signing Vinícius, then I can live with that trade-off every single day of the week. Vinícius is one of the best attackers in world football. We all know his quality isn't in doubt. The interesting part for me is why this move could even be possible. At Real Madrid, I genuinely think Vinícius wants to be the main man. The problem is that Kylian Mbappé has arrived, and whether people like it or not, the spotlight naturally follows him. It's difficult for two players of that stature to both be the undisputed face of the club. Now here's where Arsenal becomes interesting. If Vinícius joins Arsenal, does that automatically mean Bukayo Saka is no longer the main man? For years, this team has revolved around Saka. He's been our poster boy, our most reliable attacker, and arguably the player every opponent fears the most. Would Vinícius expect to become that figure immediately? And if he does, how does Saka feel about it? I'm not saying it would create problems because elite clubs need multiple world-class players. But dressing room dynamics and player egos are real. Every superstar wants to feel like the centrepiece of the project. Personally, I'd love to see Vinícius in an Arsenal shirt because he instantly raises our ceiling. I just hope, if it ever happens, both he and Saka are comfortable sharing the spotlight instead of competing for it. If Arsenal can make that balance work, we'd have one of the most frightening attacks in Europe.

🚨🎙️ Jamie Carragher on the Christos Tzolis and Morgan Rogers transfers: 🗣️: “Look… I’ve seen this movie before. Arsenal sign Christos Tzolis for a relatively modest fee — a clever, intelligent footballer who contributed 51 goals and assists in 52 matches last season — while Chelsea smash the British transfer record for Morgan Rogers. This will end up exactly like Trossard and Mudryk. One will prove an outstanding piece of business: the smart, high-IQ signing who slots in, delivers in big moments, gives the manager options and punches way above the fee. The other will be the massive outlay everyone was excited about — full of talent and potential — but still searching for consistency, end product and the ability to influence games week after week. History doesn’t always repeat… but it rhymes. Tzolis and Rogers… mark my words. In a couple of years we’ll look back and say one was the far better signing… just like Trossard over Mudryk.”

@afcstuff @JacobsBen Newcastle won't get £35m for him next summer. I'm not sure why we are fixated on him. We should be looking for a younger player with more still remaining inside his tank. Now we have to buy BG & pray he doesn't get any serious injury or he's done.

🚨 @JacobsBen: “Arsenal have got this disciplined valuation for Bruno Guimarães, which is in & around £70m, but I’m actually told they’re prepared to go a little bit higher than that. My expectation is that things are happening behind the scenes.” “Newcastle sources have told me for quite some time that if you want a meaningful conversation, the package likely has to start with an eight - £80m plus. The longer Arsenal leave it & it’s ‘verbal’, ‘informal’, ‘back-channels’, the likely the price goes higher.” 🕵️‍♂️🇧🇷 [@LatteFirm]

@GTAVINews @ballamanca @bet365 I'm sure Mount was part of the squad that finished 2nd in the Euros, Gibbs-White and Trent would be good. There's just a massive pool of talent. I actually think Gibbs-White would have been very good he's won international tournaments at youth levels he's got the experience.
