In 2007, when Chuck Norris visited Marines in Western Iraq, he demanded to get away from large bases and instead visit the small FOBs and COPs. MNF-W said it would be too dangerous, but Norris insisted and in the end, got his way.
I'm forever grateful for the example he set, and this awesome choke hold.

First issue for most of these folks will be making sure they have feed and water for their surviving cattle….fire obviously took a lot of feed, and in that neighborhood there is a good chance wind damaged some windmills that provide water. Next is treating injured cattle you can, and euthanizing those hurt too bad. After triaging the situation, finding pasture and feed to go to elsewhere

Keep everyone working these fires—whether they are behind a desk coordinating and connecting critical needs and resources, or out on the fire line—in your prayers.
But say a special prayer for the firefighters and aviators. They are taking extraordinary risks in extremely difficult conditions.
They are tougher than the hell they are fighting.
