@GovWhitmer You sign an EO that implies that MI taxpayer $ are going to be used to financially help business, that have already passed the cost of tarrifs along to the taxpayers and somehow you have the authority to issue EO's but the POTUS doesn't have that authority......stupidity reigns.

Today I signed an executive directive to help Michigan businesses receive refunds for tariff costs. The president’s tariffs have jacked up costs and Michiganders have paid the price. The Supreme Court ruled that these tariffs are illegal. Michiganders deserve their money back.

@CraigDMauger Yes Craig, It only cost $2M to save the taxpayers $5 BILLION from waste , fraud and abuse. Hell of a deal, considering the Democrat Senate proposed double the increase and found no waste fraud or abuse.

Michigan Republicans are just lying to you. Fact ✅: the law does not take away anyone’s ability to get tips. Fact ✅: there is no data that proves their sky-is-falling rhetoric. In states that have transitioned away from a sub-minimum wage, restaurants have not closed more.

@WinnieBrinks Perhaps you should finish the sentence. "............presented to the governor before it becomes law, and the governor shall have 14 days” to decide whether to sign or veto it." Any self-proclaimed grammar teacher knows that sentence does not mean "must be presented."

A self-proclaimed “constitutional lawyer” should be able to understand a very simple sentence in the Constitution that says bills shall be presented to the Governor.
